need help with getting christmas for my children

Okay.. I am a single mother just as money of you. It is not my fault that it turned out that way. Also i just got laid off.. so that means all i am getting to support me and my 2 kids is a unemployment check, a 75 dollar weekly child support check and 150 dollars MONTHLY food stamps. Tell me how someone can do well with an income of 1,000 dollars monthly and 150 dollars monthly for food?? I am looking for a job. I even have a college education. So its not a matter of wanting to be this way or being lazy. I did not just pop out kids like some girls for the welfare. This was my LAST resort and i hate it. Christmas is important for me.. I mean my kids do know the true meaning of christmas but after having presents every year how do you tell a 4 year old and a almost 6 year old that mommy didnt have the money to get you anything.. or that santa claus got lost or soemthing... I have asked around springfield also and so far no luck in finding out anything about assistance. For all of you downing people like me.. Your time will come when you will feel the pain as we feel. I am happy for those of you who have had luck finding jobs. But here in SPringfield.. There are none. SO please before you judge any of us who need help during the holidays and after.. stop and think about how you would feel.[[ FYI before someone says something smart to me too.. this is a family members computer. I do not own one! My money does go to other things!]]

i need help with my grandchildren for christmas, I have adopted 4 grandchildren ranging from ages 12-7 we will have food for the holidays but as far as me being able to afford toys for the children, I can't so if there is anyone looking to adopt a family for christmas it would be greatly appreciated. I am a single grandma raising my 9 yr old beautiful grandson also 3 beautiful grandaughters ages 1,2,and 3 yr old. I have been unemployed for awhile and am having a hard time finding a job. My health is not the best and would like to have a nice christmas for the grandbabies. Also have 3 children of my own having a hard time butthey will understand.
