Porches was one of the best things to happen to the slums of River St. Classic example of City administration doing something positive for North adams. Oh, I forgot - Mayor has not done a thing for this City. Those buildings were some of the most disgusting slums that we had in this City. Now if we could clean up some of the slums that boarder it - you know what I am talking about.
Very Interesting

Gigliotti, a long-time fellow member of the McCann School Committee with Mr. Alcombright, endorses Barrett. Three, maybe four, of the current North Adams City Council, are known to be supporting Barrett. And I hear some Mountain One execs are supporting Barrett. Very interesting. What do they know that we don't? Maybe he's not the candidate many of us thought he was?

Berkshire Hills Development Corp. actually cleanded up those rat holes on River St. And they paid for them, in many cases a lot more than they were worth.

Yes and exactly what manner was used to obtain his goal?

Threats and intimidation.

He eliminates slums for profit, and continues to build slums for profit.

That's just ridiculous.

Daily Horoscope for January 8

Virgo

Today, you're happy, sensually alert and bold with your opinions. Unless you want to be restless, spend the next couple of days with people in a similar mood. As far as you're concerned, your story is an open book for anyone who is curious. Most of the fun happens in the evening hours. Have an impromptu dinner at your house after work, or invite your friends and co- workers to dine with you at your favourite restaurant.
