Awesome service, always professional. Caren knows my dog and always treats her as her own. Wouldn't take my dog to anybody else!

Caren is so wonderful with all the dogs! She also runs a small doggy daycare which my dog absolutely loves! There isnt a more compassionate groomer/dog lover around!

Used to be great service and excellent care when before word got out that they were good...now they do not appear to have the same care and concern. Had both of our schnauzers there today, cuts look terrible...just used the clippers and shaved everything claiming they were too matted to give a schnauzer cut, although there was no discount in price for just giving them a buzz cut. They even put the wrong collars on each one of them to show that their attention to detail has completely evaporated. I would urge that you take your business elsewhere, as we certainly will.

I should've seen the above comments about schnauzer cuts becuase I echo her sentiments. I took my dog there expecting a schnauzer cut as well. However, when I picked her up she was completly shaved. I was not even given the courtesy of a phone call informing me that this was the way they were going to groom her. Had I received a phone call stating that the were unable to cut my dog properly I would have taken my business elsewhere. I too was charged full price for this "grooming".

U have no clue what we go through to groom dogs. If you would take the time to Brush and Comb your dog we as groomers could do our jobs a lot easier. If you took your dog somewhere else they would have 1 hurt her or 2 shaved her also. again brush and comb your dog.The face was matted to the skin!!!!!!!!!!

I know who this is and you brought your boys to us for awhile we also brushed the matts out. But we shaved them insted of hurting them. the dogs look just alike and so did the collars anyone would make the same mistake brush your dogs and help your groomer out. Any other groomer would have done the same thing. You were getting your big sch's done cheap as it was, sorry $30.00 was to much pluse 10% off so at $27.00 that is a deal. And yes they were very matted.!!!!!!!!

My dogs facial hair was not matted to the skin! Caren shaved my dogs entire beard, eyebrows, and wiskers!!!!! You SHAVED my dog completely! Caren also acused me of cursing at one of her young teenage workers. I do not curse at people. I have a professional career and would not want to abuse someone in that way. Caren was not at her dog parlor when I picked up my dog. I explained to the young worker that I was not happy with by dogs so called "grooming". No cursing was involved. Not only does your business lie about grooming you also promote your employees to lie too.

Caren,
As a groomer I understand your frustration with owners of matted dogs, but NEVER shave without permission. Show the owner how tight the tangles are and explain how to avoid shaving next time. And NEVER get into fights online with the owners, its unprofessional and makes us all look bad.

And to the pet owner who complained about price, anywhere else in town would have charged a matted pet fee you got a great price.

I cannot believe the exchange between Caren and those two customers. I'm sorry, Caren, but to fight online with those two is highly unprofessional! I was shocked to read your response and to see the ugly "emoticon" that was attached to your comment.
I am looking for a good groomer here in Springfield. I heard your ads on the radio and called NUMEROUS times to make an appointment. I even left a message on the answering machine with my name, phone number, and the type of dog I have. No one called me back. I was disappointed. Now after reading the above exchange, I will NEVER take my dog to your establishment. Good luck! I'm spreading the word.

shaving a matted dog is much harder than a schnauzer cut and takes alot more time and should cost more

I always tell the owners when they come in that the dog is matted and if we can't get the matts out without HURTING their dog we will shave it.I always tell them how to avoid shaving them I have done this almost 16 years I think I know what to do by now. So don't tell me what to do and I won't tell you how to do your business. And yes that was a deal price. Thanks for your comments Caren

You don't know me and for not calling back on my machine it says if I don't call you back in 24 hrs please call back. My salon is very busy and a lot of times I can't return all phone calls.Sorry Thanks for spreading the word about a place you have never been to. Don't judge me or my business by these upset people. I have a lot more happy people than I do upset ones.

Daily Horoscope for November 28

Aquarius

With so much to do and so much on your mind, you may feel scattered today. It will be easy to forget dates and appointments, so consider setting an alarm to remind you of important meetings. You may be a bit over-extended and preoccupied at the same time. The telephone may be ringing constantly, providing yet another distraction. Try to focus.
