Dairy King Jiffy burger Recipe

I grew up in Holly In the 60's-70's. Does anyone remember the jiffyburgers at the Dairy King? Does anyone have a recipe? I have so many fond memories of the Dairy King!!! We used to even get to walk there for lunch in Elementary school with a parent's note!!

No but they still serve them in McCook, NE at a bakery there. The recipe got sold but I've been told that the bakery won't give it up though.

The Dairy King was owned and operated by Virginia Hoff in the 1960-70's. I worked for her for 5 years in the 60's.
The jiffy burger was made by adding a powdered seasoning which was purchased from a company that delivered products to the Dairy King, to browned hamburger. The seasoning was a fine powder of beef bullion and a seasoning kind of like Lawry's seasoned salt.

The Dairy King in Holly is now known as Porkys and they still serve the Jiffy Burger!

I grew up in McCook, NE where they used to serve the Jiffy Burgers at the local "Dairy Cream" when I was growing up. The Diary Cream has since closed and a former high school classmate of mines runs the bakery there which now sells the Jiffy Burgers. I have a recipee which is a version of the classic. If I can find it, I will post it out here :-)

Yes I would love this recipe. I have been so hungry for one of these. I grew up in McCook and peter's Dairy Creme had the best jiffy burgers in the world. Tonite I heard from my uncle in denver and we are planning a trip to McCook and he asked if peter's was still open cause he'd like a jiffy burger!!!

I too was just looking for this recipe. I loved it when my Mom would get these from town and bring them home to Culbertson. I can almost taste them!!! I would love to have the recipe please!!!
