They are trembling Michelle, and Johnnie Hubbard has never done anything without Paula Carter, and even her ex husband Alan from knowing everything each one does and even contributes to it. This is not even close to Alan and paulas strange closeness to people's deaths. They know how to get by with it obviously.

The day of reckoning is very near. Mark will get justice in his murder and the JPD is doing a fine job bringing them down.

I tell you right now, there better be more arrest. Making a deal like this is uncalled for, when you got the three red handed. No need for a deal with them. UNless one can give some info on another suspect thats not been arrested. Thats the only way, I wouldnt agree to let a cold blooded murderer walk!
Actually, I think it's pretty smart to make the deal. The guy probably has to agree to a point by point statement swearing to all he knows. If, after he testifies, the Prosecutor has additional info on him or about the crime and he failed to freely tell it, the the deal could possibly be revoked.

I wonder how you "get ready" to be arrested? Looks like someone needs to be tonight.

If I was Mark's family I would be all kinds of furious that they're letting that guy get off with just 35 years for what should be the death penalty!

I 100% agree with you. Paula Carter is evil. All she cares about is herself , her drugs and who she can steal from. She new everything no doubt. In my opinon she needs a cold cell and awaiting trial with the other 2. Hopefully the JPD gets the info they need to bring her and Carl Kelly's daughter in.

Everybody acts like they know information that nobody else knows. If everybody knows so much why haven't they given their information to the police who don't seem to know near as much about this case as the public does?

People keep saying justice will be served even though the paper said the killer was only going to get 35 years if he'd give information about the other two. 35 years for hiding out in a man's house and killing him in cold blood doesn't seem like very good justice to me.
Youre kidding right

In the meantime Michelle is sitting pretty somewhere in a very nice house in Griffin Park. Wonder who her neighbors are and how she managed that one.

I agree with all the new posts above stateing that a deal was made for a reason .Also agree that most likely the other two will be narked on and that the wife and maybe some others in the family will be implicated . Definatley agree the plea bargain better be for darn good reasons.Hope Marcs family can stay strong

I think some have hit on something with Paula. Just can't see how she wouldn't have known either. The wife is a given in my book. I hope she gets her time to sit in jail with the rest. You just don't have a murder for hire by your DAD and he not have information from daughter, saying when he will be home etc. I heard she got fired from her job? If true, that says a lot. Good job to her employer. They must have known something. If they would have felt sympathy for her, they would not have fired her. But someone somewhere thinks she is a bit guilty as the rest of the 65,000 citizens in this town.

that's what I think too. I have gone over it in my mind so many times and still cannot see how she couldn't have been involved. It all happened so conveniently...how the dad was so sure it was "safe" to drive into the garage to drop off AND pick up the killer...how it happened so close to school being let out that Michelle conveniently had to leave work to "find" him so the kids wouldn't. Also, how she was so sure he was dead and almost immediately ran out of the house without even touching him. Why did she automatically assume he was dead without even touching him to check?

The more days that go by, the more I worry -- I hope Ellington didn't make this deal for nothing. Seems like he had them all red handed & didn't need the plea bargain. So there must be something new. But at the same time, there have been no new arrests. I don't know much about this kind of thing, but wouldn't /shouldn't there have been arrests BEFORE the deal was made public? This just seems like it's giving someone a lot of time to cover their tracks or run. I don't understand it, but I pray that Mr. Ellington and investigators do and that the charges will stick against all involved.

Ellington is running for another office and can't run the one be has. What about the Truman officers stealing? Nancy Nelms, now the plea, besides wm3, wouldn't be suppressed if there is not an announcement before the election. May 22. Unless he is so confident in the primary then around sept. Right before a potentially heated election. If nor out off again. Until OCR ,or conveniently nov. Taking about torture for political reasons.
