well, well, guess who's running for city council? Our own Bruce Moore, the pastor of the mayor's church. Looks like nothing ever changes around this town. The November elections are going to be anything but dull. Let's hope we get non-connected people in office.

He pulled out of running for school board a few years ago after he announced he was running. Maybe he's "won" over his congreagation so they will let him run this time. Talk about separation of Church and State.

Talk about separation of Church and State. Ought to be interesting to see if 'pastor' moore passes the hat around at his church services for his own personal goals, ie, running for council at the mayor's bequest.

Surprised he's running. Someone needs to ask him about his New Orleans dealings.

This is not surprising. As the new deputy mayor is Mr. Agenbroad's next door neighbor, it stands to reason that he is trying to stack the deck so he can continue "business as usual". Perhaps we will see better turnout this election. If not, you are likely to see the same ol same ol. He has to be scared since his opponent in the last mayoral election almost beat him. The whole Silver Star debacle is still there, too.

pastor moore is more like Jim Jones and the "kool aid" gang...heard his church is more politics than "love thy neighbor"...can't imagine folks want him to be on council..

finally, a fresh face running for clearcreek township trustee, considering the present members are part of the "good ole boy" camp...the new guy has the good news' vote, sight unseen

the word is Moore is a conceited person whose congregation is mostly out of towners...and if Moore can't be the "boss", he ain't interested. Ought be interesting if he has the balls to actually run.

I was watching the city council meeting last time, and noticed the duputy mayor(Chmeil) suddenly has bleach blonde hair. What's with that?

What's with that? ratings: clueless? yes, many of us are, the way the deputy mayor now dyes his hair. 2nd childhood? : off topic? not at all, for the deputy mayor IS one of the "good ole boys", being the mayor's neighbor, and confidant

hm...i see our beloved bruce moore has filed for council. i also know that sara jobe (sic) was the mule that got moore's petitions signed. what a lazy ass moore is. how much do you want to bet that ,IF, moore wins, he will resign, and make the council appoint someone else ? it's happened before.

Just saw today that Candy Anderson is running for city council, hopefully filling her husband's seat, who decided to run for school board. That is great news, seeing our only other choice was Bruce Moore, the mayor's pastor. We have enough of the mayor's cronies in city positions. She gets my vote !!

Out of towners.....why don't you try attending a service.

I have seen him in action outside the church, and I guess you could call him a hypocrite.

yep wrote: <quoted text> What keeps him up at night: New Orleans and Mike Smith How do you find out about New Orleans? Do people in Franklin vote. Consider this if you don't. The teacher asked little Jonnie "what's the difference between intelligence and apathy?" Little jonnie responded " I don't know and I don't care!" Seems that's what's wrong with too many people today.
