Dr. Kelly Kohls School Board

Dr. Kelly Kohls has a new website out at http://kohls4education.com/

I'm a 1980 graduate of 'Boro living in Lebanon (sorry for moving to Warrior Country!) But I have many strong ties to 'Boro still. My mom, Susan Roether, taught there 30+ years (6th grade and Jr. High), and I am still friends with many teachers and parents there.

I met Kelly Kohls about 12 years ago. I was floored at first by her intellect, but eventually I had the honor of getting to know her family and her great generosity. I've had the fortune to work with her on several nonprofit fundraisers, and I'm impressed with Kelly's commitment and clarity in problem-solving.

Kelly is also a mover and shaker for a nonprofit that affects us all in some way or another - Operation: Thank You! Through this organization she is tireless in raising awareness and community support for the military families who have sacrificed so much.

Kelly is so organized she makes accountants look slow!(Raising four active children, she HAS to be organized!) Fiscally, I would call her a balanced conservative. As a small business owner myself, that's someone who I can admire. Someone who understands the value of a hard-earned dollar, but who can balance that with the future of our schoolchildren and the value of property in our community.

Kelly is very fair, a tireless worker, attentive listener, and a responsive leader. I'm VERY active in my community, and I'd choose to sit on her committee anytime!

Panthers, as you seek a hard-working, responsive, and responsible school board, think of Kelly Kohls. Believe me, I'd make her a Warrior if I could!

Is there a good email adress for her? I'm getting frustrated that I've tried three times and her email account isn't working. Can someone please provide a valid email address? As an interested voter there's not much time to learn about the candidates. Thx!

Hi Patrick---Just FYI
Those were the exact error mesages I was getting earlier this week when I tried to contact Kelly THROUGH THE CONTACT LINK ON HER WEBSITE. It was using the same incorrect spelling. It is an error somewhere in the website system.

Kelly's automated "contact me" website is directing emails to the improperly spelled address. I am sure she is/has missed many email inquiries.

What a rude way to respond!!!!!! I wouldn't think I would have to check the spelling since there is a LINK!!!!! If you want a future in politics you need to watch how to interact with others. You're definitely not an asset. My respect for the Kohls camp has just diminished as I am someone that's looking for info - received a bad email address from the Kohls WEBSITE and then was rudely called out by you when I was still trying to make contact? Nice manners!

I was not trying to be in the least bit rude. I bolded check spelling for the purpose of checking the spelling, because for whatever reason as listed above it was wrong. I am sure it wasn't your fault, technology can have bugs, and I understand that. I am sorry if the website is not accepting your e-mails. Please keep in mind I am only trying to help everyone get in contact with Dr. Kohls.

When someone clicked on the "Contact" link on Kelly's website, that is the email the website was sending the message to (the misspelled one). When using her link, it does not ask us to enter her email, so it is not the sender who is spelling the email wrong. It is a problem with the LINK ITSELF. Hopefully this has been fixed by now.

I am not in charge of the website, and lately Dr. Kohls has been receiving messages just fine. The only advice at this point I can give you is e-mail it directly to kelly@kohls4education.com regardless of what it may say. I appreciate you letting us know of any issues you have experienced with the website, but I ask everyone to understand that I am only trying to help Dr. Kohls get in contact with community members. It's not that i'm not listening to what they have to say, I am just trying to offer solutions to a few of the issues you may have had. Thanks- Patrick

I understand you are not in charge of the website. But your response to the other person who was having trouble really was rude. That person was only trying to get information.

You say Kelly is not having trouble "lately" getting emails. Good. That means the link has been fixed.

I originally was feeling like Mrs. Kohls was a legitimate candidate for our new board member...the website looks nice and some of her blog posts sound good. But as I (as a levy supporter) drive around town and see that most of the houses where "Vote NO on School Levy" signs are typically located now have "Kohls for School Board" signs, I got alarmed! Was I being duped by a nice website and feel-good blog posts? Why is Mrs. Kohls appealing to the "no levy" folks? What are her true beliefs and why have no voters jumped on her bandwagon??? I'd like to know.

Please e-mail Dr. Kohls with any of your concerns. She will answer them honestly. I am a student at Springboro that has gone on levy walks in the past and I honestly believe that Dr. Kohls is a great candidate for school board. I respectfully feel it's time for a change in the Springboro School board. My neighbors and friends families have been yes voters, and yet they still support Dr. Kohls. The good news about Dr. Kohls candidacy is that she is attracting all types of people, not just one type of voter. I have talked to no-voters throughout the community, and the majority of them honestly don't trust the current board. Almost all people are pro-school, but not always in support of more taxes. Please e-mail Dr. Kohls with any of your concerns.
