General Motors will shut down its' production of the Chevy Traverse at the Spring Hill plant on Wednesday, November 24; the day before Thanksgiving.

A real shame. The Chevy Traverse was an excellent vehicle that was just a little too late in the GM downward spiral. Personally if I had the money I would have bought one. Our 2004 Chevy Tracker bought new has been one of the best cars ever owned. Quality now is on par with some of the best cars of the world. For the GM workers at that plant losing their jobs may good fortune be in your future. And yes you helped build a well designed, high quality, and reliable automobile!

No need to worry about this community we can survive with out all of those northerners working at that plant. Now we will get to see about that won't we??? Sad.
