I heard today, that Edenfield Stages, the bus company whom contracts the majority of the Westmoreland County bus services owes up to 5 million in debt. According to public documents the owners are so far in debt they owe there own family hundreds of thousands. There is no way looking at the debt to income ratio they can pull a restructure off. What about payroll, service etc. We need to get involved and see where this is going, attend the board meetings ask questions, are we doomed.

The owner Don Kissell is nothing but a white collar thief! Imagine all of the small business men and women who extended credit to him and his company, only to find out that they will now receive pennies on the dollar....The biggest concern should be the WCTA owned buses. Take a look at his contract with the Authority and you will discover that many aspects of the contract are not being adhered to. Ask any mechanic who works there, they can tell the story. I wish there were an investigative reporter willing to dig up some dirt on this guy and expose him for the low life that he is! |
