Where is this supposedly going on in spring city? Certainly the city mayor and the city council and above all the POLICE CHIEF would not allow this to go on! Gambling is against the law in Tn. And our officers fight crime they do not PROMOTE illegal activities! So where is this gambling establishment at in Spring City? Have you informed the police of these illegal activities? Gambling is a crime and if they know where this is being done they will arrest those involved! Are they gambling at city hall?

I'm not dense and I don't know where this place is? Is it the blistered chicken?
Since this is directed at the city gov't does Terry have slot machines again? If you know why aren't you telling? Cause there is no illegal gambling going on in spring city if there was the police would raid the place! So go play somewhere else.

I just turned 21! And Our seniors are special. But this senior is senile, if you think you can do whatever you want to because of your age! 80 or 90 or even 100 commit a crime and your going to jail! Just because your old you have not earned the right for pete's sake to break the law! Geeeezzz! Senior if you drink and drive your going to get arrested just like me! If you rob a bank your going to get arrested. You've earned the right to smell the roses not break the law. Lol.

There is no gambling in Spring City. Sandtown is not all in the city yet. You should think more about attending one of the 13 churches in our small town and get you a good hook-up for high stakes and great sex.

The best way to avoid a BINGO game from being raided would be to NOT give a cash prize. Instead, give a $20 Walmart gift certificate then offer to buy it from the winner for $20. It's one of those little technicalities.

To really learn the legalities of BINGO in Tennessee, just go read the laws. The Tennessee Charitable Gaming Implementation Law which is codified at TCA 3-17-101-117 pretty much sums it up for 501(c)(3) non profits. You can read those laws here: http://www.state.tn.us/sos/charity/gaming/cod...

I have no clue how I ended up at the Spring City thread, seems like some politics going on though :)

If you wife has a gambling problem, canceling bingo will not help. She can go to any gas station and buy a lotto ticket. Thats more of a personal problem, I think people should be able to do with their money what they want. Go find something better to complain about then some seniors enjoying bingo. I don't gamble but I don't have a problem with people doing it for fun.

But why should one form of gambling be legal and another not?

Daily Horoscope for June 18

Taurus

No matter what else you're supposed to be doing today, it's a good idea to devote a little time to making sure your finances are running smoothly. You might even want to pay some bills now, rather than wait a couple of days until they're due, simply so you can make sure that you don't forget them. There should be some good news about a pay rise or perk, too.
