i live close by...and this area will be a shock to you unless you are from here...hope you arent to close to dunlap..the theft capital of america...and the cops do most of the stealing

That is a shock! Crossville was great to visit, everything seems clean, lots of friendly people... Now whats up with Dunlap, my land is like 10 miles from there!

crossville is in cumberland county..it is a nice city,,,dunlap is in a county controlled by drug gangs..hell the county court clerk has been busted twice for issueing titles to stolen cars...every time bledsoe county busted some one for murder rob rape they are from dunlap...the school foot ball team.raped a boy after a game...just belive me it is the bottom of the barrel in tn

a lot of land is being sold in that area to out of state buyers,,,met several on here...its not a good area...thats why land there is cheap

Pikeville is a mall, VERY rural town with just the basics. But if a quiet country life is what you are looking for then it's all good;) I haven't been to Dunlap since highschool days eons ago but I'm not very suprised to hear about the crime. If your property is on the ole east valley road, anywhere along that part of the country is beautiful. I have a friend that raises Quarter Horses and Brahama cattle that has a farm in that area.

crime is everywhere, your never gonna get the luxury of not living without it. as far as dunlap goes, everyone in pikeville goes there I mean "hello" they built a walmart there and more than one restaraunt.Pikeville has more than its share of trouble too.

Umm duhhh i don’t think topix is a reliable source of information!! The valley relatively has little random crime!! Most of the crime you hear aboit are family or neighbor quarrels!

Moved here from out of the area. Its fine, but you will have to protect your own. I live in Bledsoe and shop and worked in Dunlap. I can tell you now better law enforcement in Sequatchie is better than Bledsoe under the sheriff Bledsoe has now. You will not have the services here that you have in a larger city such as Crossville. They work at their on pace. Order a phone 6 weeks ahead of time. Just think you are stepping back and entire century and you will be fine.
