I mean, let's look at this a moment. In all honesty, that end of the county needed a middle school WAY before we did anyway. Secondly, they are merely inheriting a dilapidated building of what age? And thirdly, people gripe about $ spent on schools. Who is going to volunteer all the $ to redo decor/gym to reflect anything different than eagles? Any volunteers? I'm sure there aren't any. Give them a break! We should be thankful for all they do with what little they are given. While WAY more $ is being spent to house our prisoners in a NEW facility, which seems backward and a slap in the face to our most valued resource, the children of Rhea county. I find it VERY sad that criminals are a higher importance than our children. What message are we sending?

That's why we have so many prisoners parents don't raise their children with morals or ethics anymore. They raise them to live off the gov't or to steal what they don't have money for. And I love the new name! My grandson will be a rhea county middle eagle.
