horse rescue

Does anyone know of the situation at the horse rescue known as Mustang Hearts? This rescue recently lost its major source of funding due to the economy and the horses there are in danger.

Hello, I have not talked with Debbie since we headed into winter. We have a little thrift store near her and she stops in quite often, however, due to the extreme damage from this winter, we have had to move our location.

I have her contact info in the office at the new store and will get a message to her and check on how she is fairing.

We operate a small non-profit welfare program for pets, www.Pennies4Pets.org however our funding is also near 0 now, there may be some way we can help. At least find some foster care or adoption homes for now.

Thank you for your inquiry and the heads-up. So many times there are those suffering here in our own local communities and we are not aware.

well you seem to know about their funding..why don't you call them and ask? Take the time to make a donation too..if you are really concerned about helping rescue horses.

They have recent pictures posted and all their horses seem very well cared for in all the snow. Got to be strong to manage a herd of horses in winter.
