This story the 93 year old women is my great grandmother. I wish those guys would rot in jail forever and the 15 year old boy should be put in prison too. A murder is a murder not matter how old you are.

What a shocking article to read! Radisson is my hometown and even tho I now live more than 2 hours away, it has hit me hard. My deepest sympathy to all the family and other hard-working decent people of the community. This is a wake-up call that crime, drugs and the like exist everywhere and when the scale tips the other way, bad things happen. It use to be growing up, a person new everyone in the community and something like this was unimaginable. I know this will bring the people of all the area communities together and unite to prevent and stop any future senseless acts.

Irene Roszak was my mother in-law, and I hope that these two murderers gets the time they deserve. Death penatly is to leniant in my eyes and in the eys of all Irene's family. Life in prison for both of these animals is better, then death penalty... death penalty is a easy way out. they shouls SUFFER.
So very sorry

I have only lived in the Radisson area for 5 years, but it is my home now and this has shocked and sickened me. It's a real wake up call. Both of the murderers should forever rot, somewhere.

My sincerest and deepest condolences to all of the family members and friends of Irene Roszak. May she rest in peace.

Sawyer County residents are shocked at the brutality of this crime. Some residents are even more worried because voters just elected a new judge who said in an interview, "I hate incarcerating people."

My deepest sympathies go out to Irene's family. I cannot imagine what you are going through. The first time I heard about this I quickly became angry and frustrated with the world these days. It seems like some individuals need to make someone else hurt so they feel better. It is disgusting.
May Irene's family know that there are people far and near praying for their family. May justice be served.

My significant other has a 40-acre place in Radisson, where he spends about half the year. I have been there many times over the past ten years. My permanent home is in a suburb of Chicago. I always thought that when I was in Radisson, I was safe. Guess not. Slime balls find even those living in the middle of nowhere. Now I will always be worried about my sig.other when he's up there alone.

This is horrifying. This was a crime of opportunity. It should be a wake up call to all of us. We need some better focus on making our prisons more like prisons, truth in sentancing and stop coddling these wastes of breathing air

I also live near the Radisson area and want to send my heartfelt condolences to the family members of this elderly woman, I believe that there should be stiffer penalties for the people who commit crimes against the elderly. Whatever happened to respect for the elders. These two young people obviously never were taught that concept.Thoughts and prayers go out to Irene's family.

Are you kidding me!!!!!! The 15yr old killed my grandma and this isn't like if he spilled a glass of milk. He decided to do a grown up act so he should be charged as a grown up! Give him life and let him deal with that because he took my grandma's life he doesn't deserve to live a normal life! MAD AS "H"! GIVE HIM LIFE!!!!!!!!!! AND CHARGE HIM AS AN ADULT!!!!!!!! As for Chris the 27yr old I wish I lived in the area and I was a man because I would purposely do a crime just so that I can be in the same jail so i can personally let him know how I feel about what he did to my grandma! And if he's able to get this message or his family can let him know this make sure he took my grandma from me 4 months to the date my mom her daughter past away!! So I pray that he never gets out of jail of live for a life he took and had no right! Very Angry From Chicago! Wish I was able to be at every court date because I would make sure that I would let the Judge know what a wonderful grandma I HAD and these 2 MONSTERS should never be able to enjoy life!

I would like to start by saying that I too was shocked to hear this story. I mgrew up in a small town myself. I also knew Chris when we were younger. I think instead of looking at the one side you should also look at the other. This should be an awakening to what happens when a person is clearly disturbed and doesn't recieve proper help. Chris does now belong incarcerated for his crimes. However the term rot is not what is going to happen. He has adjusted to life behind bars and most likely feels as if he is home again. I wish the family my condolences and I also wish Chris to recieve the help he needs.

It's too bad that my grandma had to move so far away from her family. Because if she would've stayed in Chicago and this happened to her here in Chicago! I promise you that those 2 MONSTERS would've been found in the Forest Preserves or maybe never found at all. I just pray that the judge will look at this case as if my grandma was his grandma. I do think NO EASY WAY OUT FOR THESE 2 AND THEY SHOULD HAVE TO BE REMINDED EVERYDAY FOR WHAT THEY DID TO MY 93 YEAR OLD GRANNY!!!!! HOPE U 2 ROT IN HELL FOR THIS CRIME!!!!! IN LOVING MEMORY OF MY BUSHA!!!!!!
