Sex offender issue is 'slam ...

I don't think these sex offenders would be getting off so easy if they assaulted the child of someone important. And being I am the mother of the 6 year old girl that he last touched, let me tell you there is no way in hell that I would ever want him to do this again to anybody's child. I'm sure my daughter is more forgiving than I am, but it's scarred me for life. I've been told over and over again that it's not my fault....damn right it's not. It's the S.O.B that let him get away with it the last time. And if you think the state should take it easy on these people, just remember, it could have been your little girl.

These sexual predetator's never change....they get worse..."Honest Judge I won't do it again....just slap my hand". If he get's off scotch free, and another innocent child is hurt, hang both mark and the judge. Grandmother of innocent children

I feel what happened to my niece could have been prevented if the laws for sex offenders, were stronger and people took it seriously. There are to many people getting away with this over and over again and every time it is a slap on the wrist and thats all they get. It isnt right the laws for stealing are stronger then the laws for sex offenders I DON'T THINK THAT IS RIGHT!!! I believe they should go to jail for a very long time. If that would of happened to one of my little girls, I would have taken the law into my own hands and he wouldnt have anything down there or any fingers, to use to hurt any more children.(don't they do that in certain country's.....well they should!)

I have noticed that several Sex Offender's are living in Spooner. Why? Is there a half-way house here? If you look at the sex offender registry you will notice several S.O. right in Spooner.

why is it that sex offenders get only a few years for super heinous crimes and gang members get 5 years added to any felonies they get..thats 10 years for carrying a concealed weapon.. My Cuzin..who i no longer claim molested over 5!!! of my cuzins who were between 11 and 14..he only got ONE YEAR??? thats bullshit..i don't care if he's family he should get life..cause them girls have to be trapped with the images that his sicc ass put in there heads for the rest of our life... We need to totally redo our punishment and system in this country..

it needs to be:

1.Tougher on Sex offenders
2.Easier on teens
3.You should not be able to be charged as an adult if you are 17, if they wont consider u adult enough to get a smoke, then they shouldn't for court.
4. Drinking Age needs to be 18, we shouldn't be able to go die in a war before we can go get a drink at a bar.
5. Separate punishment for narcotics, a man who has a bag of weed should not be charged as much as a man with a bag of crack
6. FEDERALIZE OUR SCHOOLS!, I got screwed major going from saint paul,mn to spooner,wi they wouldn't take my credits, i was due to graduate my 10th grade year.. all schools should have the same standards and be financed equally.

oh and as far as S.o's go in spooner we have 5 out in little old sarona...i say we we start a sex offender hunting season..i don't see the difference between them and a bear...both animals.

Deceive the jury and deception is maintained to the public. Constitutional guarantee to a fair public jury trial is a SHAM . It can become corrupt. When secret conference in the hallway toward judges chambers removes from record stated evidence toward your innocence that NO crime occurred. These codes/laws deprive Due Process in that one could expose the tampering with evidence and obstruction of justice and be excluded from this injustice. Without Due Process the fraud continues and the conflict of interest of having the state label/group/category/degree maintains the jury trial fraud. The Constitution commands an oath from all public officials and judicial to support/up-hold the Constitution...this must be protected and supported. Due Process must be allowed. Listen, dimwit. If you know the laws like I do, you can EASILY see what TYPE of sexual offense the person has. Knowing the laws, being EDUCATED, is what it's all about. Who's judging? The person has BEEN JUDGED GUILTY of a particular crime. Maybe it's just 3rd degree sexual assault, which may be simple stupidity of not making sure of someone's age before jumping into the sack. That's not my fault, that's his fault. I hate when people blame other's for their own stupid mistakes.

I totally agree with you, our justice system does nothing, until someone gets killed. Than, once someones life has been taken from us, do we ask "Why where they on the street in the first place". Sex Offenders are getting off way to easily.

The government is pawning off it's duty to keep families safe and secure in their homes. The best part for law abiding citizens is that our streets have become the jails and we are the wardens...... and there is no pay.

How's that for piece of mind when you discover your property value just plummeted because a webpage just informed everyone a former sex offender is living on the block. Never mind the fact that someone in the criminal/justice department deemed that person safe enough to be released.

i have a 6yo daughter that was recently molested by a boy that had had previous related problems in the past. so because of our great legal system, my daughter was added to his list.where does it stop? when will he be stopped? why was a repeated offender able to move in and destroy my daughters life? i think he should be stripped of his sexual abilities permanently!! and required to display a sign where he lives so that like in my daughters mind, he will have to live with what he has done!!and will never forget!! as she and his other victims will never forget!!

Exactly,and after being judged guilty, oftentimes by a jury of their peers, handed a sentence and completing the time served - have they paid their price to society? If they haven't paid their price and are a threat to the community, why are they released? Once they are released from custody, do they deserve a chance at renewal or should they be marked forever? including stigmatizing entire neighborhoods with a offenders webpage registry? It's all about "saving" money when get down to it.

Thats the problem with America. 1st 2nd 3rd degree a crime is a crime. Those numbers came up because no one stopped it. Anyone who does things to children should be locked up in a room darker than black.

I am really not sure where in Wisconsin Spooner is but if it is anywhere near the North Central Illinois border this area seems to be a sort of dumping ground for all of the weirdos from the outlying areas. I too noticed a huge number of the sex offenders in this area committed their crimes in surrounding areas and were moved here for some reason. Just another reason to hate the State of Illinois. I moved here with my parents from Indiana about 20 years ago because my Dad got transferred and the cost of living is so high we haven't been able to leave YET! I hate this State and nearly every person I have met here. Wisconsin, which is just a few miles from here seems completely different. The people are friendlier, its much cleaner, and did I mention the people are friendlier? Oh yeah I did but believe me that is a big selling point. Illinois seems to have every type of bad tempered scumbag of every different race that exists and I guarantee any native Wisconsonite notices any time they come here! You will not be treated worse or with more disdain anywhere than Illinois especially the Rockford/Belvidere area. Any time you are sick of Wisconsin just thank whatever God you pray to that you don't live here.
