First off, i must ask why is this group so concerned about what is happening to these chicks, when there is a world full of problems more worthy of their attention. In my opinion once we solve all the problems that are killing millions and millions of humans every year, and making millions of others of us destitute, hungry, and living in substandard conditions, then maybe we could afford to spend some time on how an egg factory should deal with unwanted chicks. but at the moment, to me at least it seems a bit trivial.
