Gangs take over the reservations

"At the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota, 39 gangs have led to thousands of gang-related police calls."
When the tribal police try to do something to stop the gang bangers all you hear is how those Nazi cops are picking on someone good little boy.

Fact is those Tribal Officers should carry a extra long night club and start thumping heads. Throw the gang boys in jail for gathering in groups more than four unless they are activly playing basket ball. Then they better not have the same tatoos or wear the same colors that identify themselves as gang bangers.

If any group fight together as a group they are at once arrested and jailed or kicked off the reservations.

Someone needs to take the sap out of the young bucks that are causing trouble even if they are someones good little boy.

Someone needs to take the sap out of the PIGS all across this country especially in N.Y.C and L.A. Cops are the only gangs I concern myself with who kill innocent people everyday and get away with it always. If these young men on this reservation had the opportunity that other young men have in better funded economic demographics they would be more adjusted and a more positive influence in their community. If we help these young men they will be a formidable force and that is what people like "opinion" are afraid of. We need young men with energy directed at cleaning up the reservations and helping build community centers and computer centers for the kids to learn. This takes funding, where are the leaders and representatives of this reservation? Who is the Governor of the state, who is the local representative. Those people should be writing legislation that prohibits alcohol sales and penalizes the corporations and businesses that sale it on or near a reservation. The people who are alcoholics need help not jail. This all takes funding for a people who have given more than any other group of people on this land.

Self pity.
The first thing to get over is self pity. We Native Americans have as much oppurtunity as any of the people off the reservations. Take any school just off the reservations and those schools are in no better shape than the schools on the reservations. Whether it is buildings, teachers, or money spend per student. Fact is the reservation schools are newer and have better facilities.
The kids from the reservations have just or more of a chance to get funds to go to colledge both in available monetary help and acceptance into colleges.

The problems of the reservations and of native americans to a great extent is due to their own lack of desire to make the changes necessary. Set around and place blame everywhere but upon ourselves.
