I'd say the craigrock slug is a rat. Maybe not the rat. Honestly I'm surprised it hasn't happened sooner. Every dog has his day tho and eventually the rat will get busted for something and get to spend some quality time with those he/she, I actually think it's a she, ratted out. That being said... if they weren't breaking the law there'd be nothing to tell. They are decent people to those who know them. I hope they can come out of all this better than when they went into it.

from what some people close to the situation stated there was actually close to $350,000 worth of money, drugs, and other items taken in the seizure. I don't think they are estimating the street value correctly... or something was counted... Who knows. I'm suprised it took this long for a major bust in the county.

I think its because they don't want to tip anyone off and some people are probably dumb enough to keep calling and trying to make purchases and I almost bet the phones are tapped :). Who else was busted with him? I am certain he wasn't acting alone because from what I hear this was a pretty big operation.

If they had arrested them right then they would have been released on bail and had an initial appearance. They would at that time bind it over to the Grand Jury to buy time. By waiting and just getting a sealed indictment from the grand jury, they bypass all the other stuff which is a waste of the court's time and taxpayer's money. They probably want to wait to see who all claims the stolen property that was recovered and whether there will be additional charges.
