The trouble here is that the Bishop and other Diocesan officials do not engage enough in dialogue with parishioners or (people who are seeking justice).

This group keeps making demands, because the Bishops think that THEY and THEY alone constitute the "People of God" and that the laity are supposed to sit quietly in the pews and just put their envelopes in the collection basket.

The new Bishop needs to meet this woman (and her lawyer) face to face and settle the problem---fairly and justly. Period.
