I am appalled at the comments above. The Southington Italian-American Festival is a celebration of a group's devotion to God, family and community that Italian-Americans share with many other cultures and ethnicities. It is a great event that gets better every year, and all people are welcome to attend.

My family and I are greatly looking forward to this year's Southington festivities. Last year we attended and we saw wonderful entertainment, Aaron Caruso and Angelo Ruggiero. I have been checking your newspaper, and sadly I have not seen any mention of these two entertainers. However, when I googled their names, I did see that they were indeed singing there this weekend. In the future, perhaps you can post your entertainment schedule. I'm sure out-of-towners visiting your feast will really appreciate it. Ciao, Anna
