In the late 80s Southfield was infested with drug dealers calling the city home. Flashy cars and guys with gold ropes roaming around everywhere. Also, the two high schools started getting rowdy. Southfield High was just bad, and Southfield Lathrup was having internal wars between southfield natives and the steady flow of Detriot children every month.
