1 The thing these muslims don't and never will understand is that in THIS country the state is a seperate entity from your BS religion! 1 No what is wrong is that a muslim women can expect to think her religion grants her rights under the law. This is the US with a seperation of church and state FOR A REASON! Respect? LOL This is not about that but about not bending over for someones superstition! She can practice Islam here but when dealing with the LAW, RELIGION does not apply. Let me wear a cross down the streets of Pakistan and see how well that goes over! The reason she needs to remove it is the same reason fairytale BS like religion and Gov are seperate so ANYONE has the ability to practice because religion does not grant special privledges when concerning the law! |

1 What's even more sad is when people express their opinions without any or limited racial connotation, people like you always believe it's about hatred or racism. The point you're failing to grasp is about selfishness. It appears to be about Arabs on the grounds they are the race who wear the hijab. If any other person were to were a face covering in the same manner as this Arabic woman, the same uproar would be equal and justifiable. Therefore, it's about expectations from one culture, race, religion, etc., to make changes to suit their group. Plain and simple, it's pure selfishness. The laws of this nation are to be followed by all US citizens and visitors, as any other nation would expect the same. To sue someone seeing that they don't believe as you is selfishly asinine. To allow facial covering in the government sector, allows the potential for violent crimes. Men could dress as Arabic women and attack. Terrorists would have a field day. Understand the full picture. Just because someone expresses the truth, doesn't mean they are racist. The general one way perception and assumptions without an open mind is what's really wrong with this country. |
