It is that time again. We are supposed to look at the re-election propaganda and say Yes Yes we love Don. Lets forget about the angry packed town hall meetings, the arrogant chats, the mishandled personnel decisions, the threats to the SS Fire Department, the spoil site dumping wheather you like it or not campaign, the cut back in services .... MY MY it has been an intersting time..... November can't get here fast enough.

What we need to do is ensure EVERYONE votes. I think the boy wonder won because of low voter turnout. The minority became the majority because the majority stayed home.

We want an honest mayor. Someone who will not hire his freinds and plot to increase HIS kingdom. We need someone who will truly look out for ALL the citizens of Southern Shores. Hal will do great job and get us back on track as a town. The party is over --- Don --- your days are numbered.

Alzheimer's, dementia and Hejduk are what that town really needs right now by bringing in the 90 year old man! Where the hell did you people come from? Let less government work for awhile or turn the town hall upside down!! Things are finally getting normal around there for a change. Get a life back where you came from people and let this one be!!

Hejduk is gone. As far as dementia and alzheimers maybe you should be tested. I have lived here 40 years --- maybe it is time YOU back to where YOU came from.

SS lost when they elected Don. They'll lose again because the citizens just don't care. If they did they would do something about the situation. The Town Manager - put there by Don - is a joke and is no longer on Don's golden list. Guess Don finally figured out the TM is not qualified for the position. Only took him 2 years to figure that out. Of course this will open the door for Don's wife to take over the TM position. Is she qualified - heck no. She'll do what ever Don wants. Seems like this would be conflict of interest - no checks and balances. The town will continue to lose. There are some who point at Hal and say he's too old. Then why didn't they step up and decide to run. At least Hal is willing to try and make change happen. The town is for losers and if Don is re-elected then they deserve all the chaos, bad management, and government stupidity they'll get.

The wonder boy lives in Florida anyway, doesn't he? He declared for a homestead exemption done there is what I heard. That would make him a resident of Florida, not Southern Shores. How can he be a mayor in NC when he lives in Florida.

Is it true Don has somehow gotten lifetime health care benefits for his wife approved by the Town Council? I guess they can now retire to Florida with their health care paid for by the residents of SShores.

The floridiot got his wife appointed assistant town manager. And now the floridiot is not fond of his clown friend who's the current town manager. Looks like the current clown manager will be fired and voila! The mayor's wife will be appointed town manager.
