My son and his friends have been hearing lots of stuff about her at school and frankly are surprised that she is even showing her face at the school. They all thought she would go homebound!!! Now, I must ask, did Tyler get to go??? maybe she actually plays well and they couldn't afford to not let her go. Ha. I wouldn't put that past a band director

This kinda thing happens everywhere... I am 27 and I know for a fact that it happened several times back when I was in high school. One involved my classmate/softball teammate and our coach. I witnessed the coach letting them(her and another teammate) smoke on the bus on our way to a game. No one said anything... just got pushed under the rug. Makes me wonder now.. Should I have said something? Listen and talk to your kids... they know more than you think!

No, the girl did not go on the band trip. She only went back to school for the first time on Monday (today). Mr. Bigham hasn't been back to school, either. I can't believe she went back, but it took a lot of guts for her to do so.
