Incidents At Suffield High School Spark Concerns

yep, introducing savages into a civilized established community school will always result in "incidents" time to reevaluate the successes and or failures of this 30 year old experiment. hasn't worked now, has it.\? well just throw more money at it, eh? whoops, what? there is no more money, eh?

"students have been disciplined for displaying the Confederate flag"
As if that were a bad thing?

"Suffield High School Principal Donna Hayward said the Confederate flag is not allowed at the school because it is considered a symbol of hate".

Nonsense, that flag was a banner that a people gathered behind to retaliate against an ever increasing encroachment of government oppressing states rights. The slave issue didn't come about until a couple of years after the war started. There were plenty of slave owners in the northern states.

The real story about the Civil War was the Northern industrial giants that controlled Washington feared the ever increasing power and influence the steadily growing oligarchy of wealthy agricultural barons of the south. Just like today, whoever throws the most money around in Washington controls it.

the confederate flag is a part of us history and should not be disparaged. a lot of us have had family members on both sides in that bloody conflict and we should honor their memories.

The Confederate flag is a symbol of state rights. The right to join the Union and the right to leave the Union. Do the history teachers in the high school know this?

I agree that the Northern States were out for $$$$$$$$$$; war is profit for business. The Confederate flag is a symbol of our background; we are proud that we are descendents of the Confederate States of America. We are proud that we believe in moral values, marriage is between man and women and that unborn children have unalienable rights. Why be ashamed that we are white Christains ? It is sad that many think that we must forget our heritage. That is the same thinking in Europe: forget your religion and culture, embrace diversity !. Many are being taught about the one world government. I am proud that my ancestors came from Germany, Ireland and Italy; they learned English and were happy to be part of this great nation: USA.
