Travel Deals scam now in CT

Travel Deals 425 Hayden Station Windsor CT is a scam. They are linked to Travel Deals Marlton NJ owned by Darryl Turner and his cohort wife Robyn Bernstein.
Adam Armstrong and his scam artists are bilking customers out of thousands of dollars while the Dept. of consumer affairs collects evidence. Stay away! They send out post cards for a complimentary cruise and airfare. The client pays $250 per cruise and $50 per airfare in taxes etc.made out to a bogus "Reservations" travel agency in Lake Success NY (it is a virtual office owned by Bernstein) They have no intention of honoring anyones certificates and the 8995.00 travel deals program is also a hoax. Please stay away and pass this on to anyone you know. These scammers are in all states under various names. There MO is almost always the same. Be aware!

TRAVEL DEALS:

New scam with tx# 1-866-510-2919. Same people, different name; Michigan. Send a nice letterhead; website is bare bones with the least amount of information to suggest an honest site. Anywhere Continental flies; which is all major airports. 1,298.00 deal. Just pay airport tax (50/ticket). Probably most interesting is that the date at the top of the "award letter" is the same as the date of receiving in the mail.

Michigan here...we just received a letter from travel deals, hand addressed & hand signed by Kelly Mane. She was writing to inform us that we have qualified for an award of 2 roundtrip airline tickets with a retail value of $1,298.00. We need to call her at 1-866-565-5633 by February 22, 2012 or they may issue them to an alternate. No return addy on the envelope, but it is postmarked Phoenix.

hey Vicki ~if it's not too much trouble, would you send a scan of your letter along with a brief email to reportit@woodtv.com ? I emailed them over the weekend in hopes that they would get the word out and prevent a few of our fellow michiganders from being swindled. thanks!

i just got this too in Kalamazoo. it's a total scam. I just hope no one else gets baited by it.

Just got my traveldeals letter. It was signed Jane Rice. Text is similar to a prior US Airways scam.

Dear [Slithy],
I am so pleased to inform you that you have been qualified for an award of 2 roundtrip airline tickets. Congratulations. These tickets are valid for travel anywhere in the Continental U.S. from any major international airport. The retail value of this award is up to $1,399.00. Certain restrictions apply.

We have attempted contacting you several times without success. This is out final attempt. If we do not hear from you soon, we may need to issue the vouchers to the alternate.

Just got the same one, but signed by Roberta Case!!!

Just received the same letter signed by Roberta Case, said I received 2 tickets worth $1,398.00! What a weird amount :/ Says traveldeals pioneered by Expedia Affiliate Network. My husband and I figured that if we won something we wouldn't have to call!!! Scammers!!!! Don't buy it!!! I'm reporting it to BBB

From michigan, just got same letter. $1,398.00 value. Letter sent from phoenix az signed by a dorthy nale (vice president) 866.917.7899. Thanks for the post and info on this scam.
