How does a pharmacy commit Medicare fraud?

Charging Medicare for medical supplies and prescriptions to customers that don't exist. And for charging Medicare for name brand and dispensing generic medications. How sad. Getting rich off of the elderly.

No wonder that family has so much money. What a shame. I heard their kids are always in trouble at school.

How long does a federal investigation like this take?

Could take 2 years.

yes who does own fayette pharmacy and who runs it. oh well maybe they will all go to prison for being idiots

Fayette pharmacy is where WCH police were getting the prescriptions they were selling when they got busted. That's what led to the raid.

David is the owner but is a decent man.There were many times when during the course of raising my now teenage kids that he filled prescriptions for my kids that insurance wouldn't cover and I couldn't afford.Everyone who has kids knows that numerous prescriptions come when your child is sick and alot of times with the constantly changing insurance rules they wont pay for certain ones.He helped countless people with kids who couldn't afford it and I don't think it would kill people to show a little support.Not saying he did do wrong because truthfully I don't know but if he did I would be willing to stand with him because he helped me and my family when we weren't able to help ourselves.

Bob, This kind of thinking upsets me. This is the problem with society and Washington Court House. Just because a person is willing to slide you some free prescriptions so you don't have to pay your co-pay, it's ok for that same guy to take advantage of the elderly? I've never shopped there and I will never shop there. Thank god for Walgreens.

I totally agree with Ruth. Let's clean up our town. Get rid of the crooks.

So, Bob, who exactly do you think paid for the medication that you received for free? It wasn't you, and it wasn't Mr. Ford, so it was probably an insurance carrier that was fraudulently billed for something that wasn't actually given to that patient...and there you have INSURANCE FRAUD my friend!
