I am just glad that Tommy got his second chance and will now get to live in a happy home, and someday learn to play with toys.

This was a terrible act done to Tommy. There is no reason for any animal to go through this. I am happy to see Tommy is doing good.

Time for public, brutal televised excecutions for child and animal abusers, maybe it would serve as a deterrent to others. If not, at lease there would be a few less people to care for in jail.

WHere are all these people who want her when the shelters are full of death row dogs because people doen't know how to bring their pets in for spaying or neutering.

If you are going to have a dog, you HAVE to be responsible and train the dog. You also have to provide adequate accommodations and provide attention to that dog. If you can't be bothered with these things then you have NO BUSINESS owning a dog.

I look at my dogs who couldn't be more loved if anyone tried. They are smart, they are playful, they are healthy and they are well trained. I look at them and then think about dogs like Tommy and it makes me cry.

This person is a piece of trash. I hope she rots for what she's done.

I believe that Tommy will have a happy life now. I hope that the owner is charged.
It is sad to think that someone could do this to an animal.

I think she should be charged for this CRIME and sentenced to the MAX. But so should every other adult in that house. I dont give a shit if they are ex felons or not they still should be charged even if they face going back to prison.

I wonder what Illinois laws are for such a crime. In many states, dogs are only considered "property," and this woman might only be charged with a misdemeanor or two (kind of like the young woman on the Missouri side who was a show handler - the one who left the dogs to die in her van as she slept in her air-conditioned). Ugh!
