is anyone else having problems with Mrs.Sara Wynne a 6th grade teacher at SPES?

no but there are a lot of problems in that school know if your childs lunch account is empty instead of them feeding them and sending a note home for you too take care of it they give them a 4oz fruit cup and thats it in a time when so many families are struggling i think they should be ashamed of that practice

I used to work for the cafeteria and it is against the law for them to do that, you should call Central Office and ask to speak to someone in the food service area and they will handle it for you.

I am not having any trouble with Mrs. Wynne in the 6th grade. I consider her a good teacher.

THIS IS NOT TRUE...
If your child's lunch account is empty, they do allow the students to go to the front office and "borrow" money for the days lunch.
You should be ashamed of saying this when it is NOT TRUE. I know it is not true because I work in the building.

They do not do this.
Students are allowed to go to the office to borrow enough money for the days lunch. They are NOT only fed a 4 oz. cup of fruit. Somebody's trying to spread gossip to get someone in trouble.

sorry to tell you but this is very true i know a child who this has happened to twice this school year alone not to mention the two children who were sent to the back of the line because a child in front of them was sick and the back of the line was another grade by the time they got their lunch they didnt give them time to eat it when they told their teacher they were hungry they were sent back to get another tray but they wouldnt give them one i know these children are not making this up because their teacher confirmed it just because you work there doesnt mean you know everything and why would childre have to go to the office and borrow money when they have an account

I went to the school and I was never denied food... maybe you're just ignorant and get off on gossip? gjgj.

maybe you did go there i have no doubts that this is a new practice i also am in no way ignorant nor do i get off on gossip go to the school talk to the children who go there ask them you will find the answers you are looking for do you honestly think a bunch of little kids got together on the playground and made this up

they have to go to the office to borrow money when their account is empty. They do not only give 4oz fruit cup.

I have gone with students up to the office 2 borrow money because their accounts were empty. it is against the law for them to only give students 4oz of fruit.

You folks are dummer than a sack of Dog crap!! The school isn't going to let a kid go hungry.The 4oz fruit cup is the dessert that goes along with the dinner.Folks you need to get a life and find something else to lie about.Also you need to have your facts right before you run your mouth.

please if you are having a hard time paying for your childs lunch request a lunch form to get reduced lunch and then you want have to worry about it. And if you have to, lie on it cause they will never know. Only you know your families budget and sometimes there just isnt any left over money and if you can save on lunch then that will help you out alot. There is no shame in needing a little help.... in these times people need all the help they can get.

There's an idea. Lie to get on the free or reduced lunch program. Because God knows that all of us who pay taxes don't mind one damn bit.

What's the point of working hard and keeping out of trouble and holding a good job if you can't carry the load for a bunch of freeloading liars who'd rather we feed their kids so they can do something else with their money.

Let us answer the first part of this thread, another parent having problems with a teacher. I guess it would be a crime for these parents to take responsibility for their children. Many parents are raising children who seem to have a sense of entitlement concerning everything from clothes to grades. Instead of being disciplined for their deeds, (or lack of them) children are being placed upon a pedestal as if they never do wrong. And since these children (or their parents ) could not possibly be the problem someone is always looking to straighten out the teacher. Well here is a hint, get a life and learn to accept responsibility, and oh yeah beating littly johnny's butt every now and then would help too. But if all else fails there is always the home school option.

YOU don't pay their for free or reduced lunches.....the government gives the school lunchroom grants for free & reduced lunches, which actually helps our school lunch programs. You are a DUMBASS. Who do you think "the government" is, a fairy godmother that waves a magic wand to send corndogs and pizza slices to school cafeterias? We pay, either directly through our taxes or through debt saddled on our children, for everything the government does, including the "Free" lunch program.

I never said anything about qualifying families using the free lunch program so their children can get a hot meal. I have plenty to say about people who LIE to latch onto a program they are not entitled to, and sticking the general public with a bill that they should pay.

If you really don't care about all that, then cart your stupid ass up to the school and fork out the money to buy lunches for anyone who doesn't want to pay themselves. That way your charity will have some meaning, beyond the generosity you show with other people's money.
