If you didn't have enough reason to get rid of Adam Schiff...

He's been dangling the Congressional resolution acknowledging the Armenian Genocide over the Armenian community for YEARS and KEEPING it from being passed by either dealing it away or taking it off the table. They're never going to get even a smell of that "carrot" as long as he can keep them jumping for it with their votes!

And he's been talking out of every side of his mouth about the 710 FWY extension! He tells those who want it that he's working FOR it, and those who don't that he's working AGAINST it, again while keeping the issue "alive" so he can jerk over uninformed voters and stay in office!

YOU'VE BEEN HAD LONG ENOUGH, HAVEN'T YOU??? Keep voting for him and you're only going to get more of the same, or worse.

You're already working half the year for the government now. If that Union lapdog stays in office, you're going to bail out all their pensions for $$$BILLIONS$$$ no matter what it does to you or your kids (and their kids).

enjoy your time in the sun while you can tea-party folks...
Can't wait for you all to lose Nov. 2nd and go back to your giant, collective hateful rock you all crawled out from under.
Prediction -- Tea Party has one or two successful candidates and the rest fizzles, by 2012 - they still remain on the fringe but no staying power or money and only left with hate and racism - and by the 2014 mid-terms - they are a ridiculous footnote. But I do want you Tea Party guys to stick around long enough to ensure Pres. Obama a second term, nothing like a great crazy group on the right to drive people away in droves from the right closer to the middle.
Thanks Tea Party for strengthening the moderate base!
Proof of the hate and racism claim please.

Purple Haze, how much LSD did you take over the years????? Your out of control.

Go out to the streets and make something happen to improve the quality of life for someone. then you can come back here and share a story of love.

Too many selfish white people here and not enough love. I love everybody, it does not mean I have to agree with you all. Maria, without Steve. he is at work.

Adam Schiff represents Democrat failures...he voted for every one of them. He is blind to the shortcomings of that party line and cannot learn. He has no role to play in Congress. We might as well save his salary and have Nancy Pelosi also represent this district. The outcome will be the same.

Good luck to John Colbert. He has done something in his life other than lawyering and work on the taxpayer dime. More people like him are needed in DC.

Debates in closed undersized quarters such as the Burbank facility only drive a wedge further into a society, and the reporting is mostly a hammer to sink the wedge deeper. Issues have to be discussed for sure, but the underlying reasons for the distrust, anger, and frustration of the citizenry is due to the squeeze they are experiencing. We the people have gotten ourselves into this mess, and because bail-outs are so popular, we think that is the solution. Can we get a bail out for our shirked responsibility to do the work of knowing who we are voting for? Can we get a bailout for not being engaged in the process? Can we get a bailout for being too busy, or working too hard to support our family?
We have to have Trust in our society. Truth builds Trust, and Character builds Truth, honesty, integrity, and a host of things we desperately need. Check out some basics, is the candidate, media, government trying to abdicate your responsibility to do what you were created to do yourself? If so, they are playing to your soft side - your weaknesses. You are bigger than that, and you know in your heart of hearts that if government didn't have so many inefficient programs to tempt you to entitlements, you would have more of your own money to take care of the others in your life, building out from self, to family, to church, to neighbors to community, and eventually to the world. You are the basic building block of society; you have certain unalienable rights, and governments are instituted to protect them. Study the Declaration, study the Constitution, and look for Character in officials. Vote them in, and keep them accountable. There are no bailouts for a lack of character in a society, only a seeking after the One who redeems. As for this debate, I know John Colbert at a personal level, and he is a man with both skills, and character, and he will have my vote, and my interest in how he handles the trust I put in him.

Does anyone care that Adam Schiff has lived in Maryland for a number of years? How can he possibly represent people with whom he does not live?

Good points Jim...., It is WE THE PEOPLE that ultimately make the difference. It amazes me how much of society sits back and looks to these leaders to pull them out or through their struggles. I lean Libertarian for many reasons mostly for me it is about SELF RESPONSIBILITY, smaller government control or choking of our LIBERTIES!The greatest generations tied their own shoes today many just want to kick back on slip on their shoes. To move forward we together will have to stop being mothered and grow up. GOVERNMENT is NOT The answer! Mr Schiff believes it is. VOTE COLBERT!

Daily Horoscope for June 4

Sagittarius

Relationships have been going through through testing times since the Solar Eclipse at last month's New Moon in Gemini on May 20. Events may force you to reevaluate the state of a partnership. You may even decide that you need to make some major adjustments if things are to carry on as you would like. During the coming fortnight leading up to the rare second New Moon in Gemini, this may feel like a crisis, but that doesn't mean you should abandon all hope or throw out the baby with the bathwater.
