Prediction -- Tea Party has one or two successful candidates and the rest fizzles, by 2012 - they still remain on the fringe but no staying power or money and only left with hate and racism - and by the 2014 mid-terms - they are a ridiculous footnote. But I do want you Tea Party guys to stick around long enough to ensure Pres. Obama a second term, nothing like a great crazy group on the right to drive people away in droves from the right closer to the middle.

I came to see the supposed debate between Brad Sherman and Mark Reed. Brad Sherman's website listed the event as a debate with his opponent, however its wasn't a debate at all. Reed has a pdf of the invitation from the LWV on his site, there is no mention of a debate. Go to both of their websites and see for yourselves the proof is there. Who is the deceptive politician? No more need for a debate in my opinion, I made my choice. There is just too much proof of corruption and deception in the current congressmen, we can do better.

Who is Colbert but a former deputy sheriff who quit after only a few years to chase the Internet High tech bubble? He has squandered nearly 1/2 a million dollars for what? His own union and former co-workers aren't even helping him.

Colbert, if you really want to contribute to the public discourse, start small and work your way up. Run for local city council, state assembly, etc. Learn the ropes. Don't just be a mini-version of Carly or Meg who drop out of nowhere and throw their money at the voters.

Where John Colbert has staked his time and treasure to serve AGAIN, Adam Schiff was bankrolled by DAVID GEFFEN in the most expensive Congressional race up to that time (Mr. "Chino Hills" didn't bother to mention that)
No, although Colbert served for 13 years (how is that "only a few?") he rose up through the ranks and when the challenge presented itself to do MORE to fight crime, he dug deeper and worked harder, finally creating a business that HIRED PEOPLE. Sorry if that whole "genuine job" thing is a dirty word to leftists.

His union doesn't support him? The rank and file do, but no probably not the Apparatchiks wallowing in the cesspool of public money, that Schiff has held the "Sword of Damocles" over for years, as he has other local politicians!

Our Federal Government has become a corrupt INDUSTRY -- one that consumes and destroys, NOT produces or empowers. If you want more of that, keep voting for more insiders like Schiff.

If instead, you want to see some genuine fiscal discipline, across the board, from a representative who actually represents YOU, take the responsible step. Vote for John Colbert.
