Hilton's bank account frozen; sheriff's sale is next

The debt-ridden Pittsburgh Hilton is facing sheriff's sale. The Allegheny County Sheriff's Office froze the hotel's bank account and took an inventory of its assets in preparation for sheriff's sale in two weeks, an official with the office said today.

It was my understanding that chains like the Hilton monitored the sale of branded franchises. What happened with these yahoos?

A generic brand of a Hilton, to go with a generic casino when ever it opens, and a generic baseball team, rebuilding since 1992 in a first class ball park. And while I'm off topic Heinz Field looks like it's still under construction from the outside. And the shortest underwater transportation tube in the nation, Book Em' Dano.
