This is a tradition we have been sharing with family, friends & neighbors throughout the last twenty years. This year we would like to open the invition to whomever would like to join us. Though Kelly had a short life, we would like to celebrate the love, life & memories we all share. You'd think they wouldn't re-open the case unless they had something pretty specific. I followed this case very closely and watched the trial on TV. I live a few towns away and have always wondered what really went on in the basement that afternoon and who (else) was involved.

Something was obviously not right in the Golub family. The parents of these boys sound as if they have absolutely no sympathy for the victim their sons murdered. No wonder their children are so psycho.

You have to wonder if John Golub is the focus of this new reopening or someone else? Either way I say Kathleen Rice is a champion and gives me hope that some law makers ane politians arent looking for the easy way out, and will go the extra mile. JUSTICE FOR KELLY!!

While john wasn't prosecuted for Kelly's death in 1989, there is a note on his criminal record that he was questioned in this murder. I don't think there is a stue fo limitations in 1st degree murders in the state of new York. If John's recent behavior teaches us anything, it teaches us that this person has engaged in perverse sexual behavior against woman in the past and he continues to do so. Therefore, it should provide a pathway for the nassau County DA's office to go back and pursue a conviction against him for his involvement in the Kelly Tinyes murder. He was an accomplice! His behavior in the years after the murder show that he is a sexual deviant. These actions set a precedence in a court of law and provide justification for prosecuting him for his involvement in Kelly's murder. intil there nassau DA's office gets off their lazy asses and decide to move ahead with pressing charges agaibnst john Golub, there will be no justice for Kelly Tinyes!!! There is no statute of limitations on murder in the state of New York. Since it has been 20 years the only thing that they would be able to charge him with is murder and they have to make sure that they have enough evidence to get a conviction. His current and previous deviant sexual behavior is not relevant to Kelly's murder. It is important to understand that if they bring John Golub to trial and they do not have anything to link him to Kelly's murder he will not be convicted and they will not be able to try him again. I believe that in order for their to be justice for Kelly the people who know what happened that day need to come forward and tell their stories. Maybe after 20 years someone will be tired of keeping a secret. To the Tinyes family: My heart goes out to you. I hope that Kelly gets the justice that she deserves and you get the closure that you need.

I realize that John's recent crimes have nothing to do with Kelly Ann's murder. However, I am sure that if the Da does bring John Jay to trial there will expert pyschologists testifying on behalf of the prosecution, and giving the jury some insight into John Jay Golub's psychological makeup and how he thinks and functions as a human. I am wondering if there is some loophole in the law or just someway to show that his behavior ovver recent years lends itself to showing just what type of a person John Jay Golub is. I know the law fairly well and I realize it is a stretch. I do realize that if the DA goes to trial this is it. They have but this one chance to get hom for murder. I agree that in order to convict him they need very strong evidence. I do believe that someone who knew what happened that day will 'make a deal' and talk. JUSTICE FOR KELLY!

I am glad to see that DA Rice reopened this case because I always felt that John Jay helped commit this murder. I was reading through the posts on this sight and i think I read one that said your father was a former Nassau County Detective? I wanted to ask you if you know why the detectives disregarded the statement of the six year old girl who said she looked through the basement window and saw John Jay and his two friends dancing around Kelly with Knives. From what I have read about this little girl it seems like she was able to tell them things that weren't published and she knew about wounds on Kelly's body that she would have know way of knowing about unless she had seen them. What this little girl not believable?

I also want to say a special thankyou to 'All American drive inn' and ovcourse to rocky & LongIsland chick for helping us with intense research and past history. We have been rehashing this tragic case for quite some time now, and it is great to hear from other people who have the compassion to take some time out of their own life and think about Kelly. I agree with what is said about Jaquilyn De luca, not her real name, the little girl, something always told me, perhaps its a 'feeling' I should say, that just rings true to me. I wonder what evidence they have on John Jay. I try to keep an update on this case every day. I'll keep my post general and look forward to hearing your opinions. Thake care Shar

Long Island Chick she has been a huge help to us. You all make some very good points here. I have always thought from the beginning that Robert did not acted alone, and always felt that John Jay was involved in Kelly’s murder. Also call it a gut feeling if you will, but I think that Robert & JJ parents were aware that Kelly’s body was in the basement and had every intention to help their sons dispose of her body that night. But their plan backfired with so many neighbours and friend looking for Kelly that night it would have been impossible to take her out of the house. Don’t get me wrong here, Im not saying that I think that John & Victoria Golub were involve in the murder in any way nor do I think that they were home when it happen. They both had plenty of witnesses that proved they were not at home when the murder occurred. But I do think that they were told about it when they got home from work that day. Just their reaction to when the police found Kelly’s body in their basement speaks volumes, if that would have been me I would have been freaking out. The lack of remorse and emotion from the entire Golub family member is right down creepy. The fact that they still harass the Tinyes family till this day shows their total lack of respect and care for what happen to Kelly.

If your dad was really in law enforcement in 89 you know that was a witness to the murder. New DNA technology is going to put that little s**t behind bars right next to his sicko brother!.
