He said, Obam is unfappable and he said this about McCain...Rockefeller believes McCain has become insensitive to many human issues. "McCain was a fighter pilot, who dropped laser-guided missiles from 35,000 feet. He was long gone when they hit. "What happened when they [the missiles] get to the ground? He doesn't know. You have to care about the lives of people. McCain never gets into those issues." Now that pissed me off.I guess he thinks our soldiers has no idea what happens in war fair....Rockefella just sealed the loss of another vote.He couldn't think of anything else to say, that would convince me to go vote for Obama ,but this kind of garbage?

Rockefeller apologized to McCain today for that remark. I'm not saying that makes it right, but I just thought that you would like to know that he did offer an apology.

Too little too late..I won't vote for Rockfellar. He endorsed Obama! Rockfellar is supposed to represent WV..not his own agenda..WV don't want Obama.

Sen. Rockefeller's remarks about John McCain were outrageous. The people of West Virginia deserve better representation than this. I hope these remarks are remembered when the Senator is up for re-election.

Sen. Rockefeller will be remembered next election ...not for what he said about McCain but for endorsing Obama. I am thoroughly disgusted with Rockefeller and Rahall for this endorsement. Neither will get my vote again.

Welll, you KNOW Hilary isn't going to be elected, and if McCain gets in it'll be another 4 years like the last 8, of the Bush administration. I think Obama will be more for the common people, he has my vote. And I wouldn't be surprised if he gets the deligates from NC, when we vote, in May.

Many of his ideas and plans have originated from Clinton. He did not think of them on his own. Most questions he is asked, he does not ellaborate on. He answers with a yes or no. He definatly lacks experince.

However, if it comes down to McCain and Obama, I will have to go with Obama because I know he has similar views and plans as Hillary does. I agree, McCain will be another blow to this country like we are seeing now.

I came from a family with a long history of voting Democrat. Well, when I got of age I registered as a Democrat but have always voted for who I think was best for the city, county, state, and nation. NOW I THINK FOR SOMEONE TO SUPPORT OBAMA OR HILLARY MUST HAVE MANUER FOR THEIR BRAINS. THIS COUNTRY HAS BECOME A CIRCUS WHEN A PARTY CAN ONLY COME UP WITH THE LIKES OF HUSSIEN OBAMA MUSLIM, AND A WOMAN WHO LACKS ANY MORAL DIGNITY AS PROVEN BY HER HUSBANDS CONDUCT. Oh well, they elected Jon McKinney alias OK DOC, to be Mayor of Mullens, democrats I guess.

Instead of name calling the people whose opinions differ from yours, how about explaining why you would obviously vote for McCain. I think this would be a more productive conversation. The name-calling and rude behavior gives me the impression that you are unable to give a solid reason and it tells me that you are simply basing your decision making from others - from someone you know or something you heard in the media (a shake and nod in agreement type opinion, rather, than a truly thought out process).

IF you want to hear why I'd vote for Obama, he KNOWS what it's like to be the "common man", and he genuinely wants to help the people. Hillary was put in charge of coming up with a plan for health insurance for everyone, she failed miserably. Why would she be any different at running the country. IMO, she'd put us in a worse shape than we are now, and that's pretty bad. McCain didn't make any footsteps, he follows Bush, so we'd still be in the same shape we are now, still not good. Obama is fresh, he has good ideas. WHY should all the textile places be shut down here and we ship all the work that used to be done here to Mexico and other countries whose population will work for much less than wages paid here. The places that have ownership in the US should produce their goods here so the American people can keep their jobs. That's one of the things Obama wants to see happen. The war in Iraq was started because Bush wanted to carry on what his daddy started and couldn't or wouldn't finish. Why should our military be put at risk for such a reason as that. Don't get me wrong, I support our Troops, I just don't support the people who are keeping them there. So...that's why I say Obama is the best man for the job.
