spoken like some idiot from the big k would...you are stupid.

While it may be difficult for the public to follow the insiders discussions about what has and hasn't happened in the office, the banter is worth listening to. For who knows the office better than those who work in it?

Gary really cares about us. He does a great job making sure we feel like we are important to him and that we are what keeps that office going. There's a reason that the criminals in Central Florida want to make it to Lake County. Our jail is one of the best and it's because of Gary and how he ran it.

There's no reason to call names. But I'm not the one that made up the name mudslinger. He upset a lot of people. I am sure there are people who stand behind him. But my point is, the better part of the sheriff's office is behind Borders. To me, that speaks volumes.

Oh, and as for the Late Sheriff's widow? She plays the victim very well. But she's the one getting large sums of money in benefits while Chris' kids get less than 1% of what she pulls in every month? Yeah, that's fair.

REMEMBER folks, Knupp was also with the ORANGE COUNTY Sheriff's Office when he was elected LAKE County Sheriff. When he took office, he brought Borders with him as manager of the corrections facility (the jail for those who might not know what a corrections faciity is).
I have no idea how many more candidates will come out of the woodwork before election time, but one thing is for sure....it's going to be interesting.

Borders was already in this county and working at the prison. He was a Major at the time you make it sound like he comes from another county...he doesnt.

I have know Gary Borders for a long time and he is far from being a fairy. Before you get on here a try to tear someones reputation down get your facts straight

Mysinger places article in Sent. about the order of police backing him the Order says the opposite. Politics are killers and if you set back and watch which Sheriff runs and clean race you will find Borders at the top of your list.

Borders is the best man for the job, he has the experience, his deputies know him and back him. I have noticed that his Deputies are is shape {physically and mentally}, they are curtious,and their uniforms have no donut crumbs on it.

Everyone is talking Borders, but did you actually look at what he has done? He has blown the budget, there is no disipline in the LCSO deputies get away with everything including defacing other canadates property. Now who is fair? Like has been said before if you look at the 2 and compare you will see that Tom Mysinger is the better choice. He has experience in all aspects of the SO. We can sit here and bicker all day long but that will do no good. The truth will be shown on election. Have a great day everyone!!!

The only ones I hear talking Borders are the ones getting a check. The public and the churches of Lake County are talking about something else. These money grabbers think the taxpayers are stupid and as Borbers has been quoted by his own employees as saying at his staff meetings; these stupid folks deserve what they get.And what they are getting is a lot of abuse by the very people who are sworn to propect them. If stupid people elect a stupid sheriff they will get what they deserve. Evil is Evil........ And lord does stupidy cost a lot of money in 2008....

I wonder why he knows there first names{Gay joke}. The arrest of lake county are pathetic. 25 people a day, most of them are easy tagets. Their are not any proactive policing. if borders is such a great sheriff then why is the budget screwed, no arrest, and truth of him being alternative is everywhere.

This will be a heated race between Borders and Mysinger. Even in my family we're split evenly over these two candidates. Wells?? Not a chance and Knupp had his shot and blew it long ago. Should get interesting as we get closer to November. BTW, I'm for Borders and so are most of neighbors. Where my sibling is pulling for Mysinger and so are her neighbors.

As for the LCSO as a whole, I think they're doing a decent job of controlling crime in the northern portion of our county. The southern portion of Lake county needs attention as crime migrates out of Orlando in the Maranda slums of Clermont.

Borders is a sick person!! Sex with male inmates makes for good morales, yeah right. And the best part is he was allowed to continue the job after everyone found out about his involvment in a boys home. Does this reek of Penn State to anyone?

Lake County is run by a want to be New York mobster that is stealing the taxpayers blind on among other things all the schools and other government build projects. They like Borders because he's to busy playing with his little boys weenies and too dumb and coked up to enforce any laws.What they are too dumb to realize is that he's spending all his 65 million budget trying to keep his lovers quiet and they are running all over the county telling everyone that willlisten what he is! They'll steal that Envoy right out from under his sick ass before they leave town.
