Puppy-sitting biz a unregulateda

Despite pooch-sitting centers popping up in Hub neighborhoods and throughout the Bay State, the businesses are "basically unregulated," said Brian Adams, spokesman for the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

This needed be addressed. I know of a doggy babysitter who went to the house to feed the dog and walk him. The food for him was in the bathroom which was accidentally locked. The dog sitter did not call the owner and did not feed the dog for three days. That is criminal beyond question. Why the owner did not do anything is as well a crime.
