Has anyone ever been treated by Dr. Elkalliny and had unnecessary surgery or problems related to surgery.

My brother-in-law had surgery performed by this doctor. It was a necessary procedure and all has gone very well.

I have had three procedures done by Dr. El Killiny, all necessary for Stenosis in two spots and a broken neck from a Dec. car wreck. Superb care and treatment by he and his staff. Should be released from care Wednesday.

None better than these two doctors. Even the Superman actor Christopher Reeve was Transported TO Somerset with a spinal cord injury years ago.

I feel they completed an unnecessary surgery in 2011' after accessing me for 5 minutes. I have heard they are wonderful surgeons, but feel they may take on too many clients and are so overwhelmed the quality of care may not be like it should. I had to have two additional surgeries, due to the problems encountered with a new device they placed in my spine that was defective. May be getting a little greedy.

Dr. El-Kalliny performed a 10 hour surgery on my back in January of this year due to an infection in my spine. He saved my life, and saved my ability to walk. I would not go to anyone else in this country if I needed surgery again.

You should know that the surgeons don't actually make the devices that they might implant, and depending upon the complexity of the device there may not be a way to test it beforehand. I've seen Dr El Kalliny as a patient and I completely doubt that he only spent 5 minutes assessing you (not accessing).

This is a PUBLIC forum; in which everybody is entitled to there own opinion, not a Grammar Class! People are entitled to give advice as the feel necessary. I answered there initial question per my viewpoint! This is exactly what this forum is designed to do and people like you who critic... out of arrogance/ego give this site a bad name! Believe it or not I have a Master's Degree; hence your title Liberal is really ironic !! I understand that the MD does not manufacture the products they implant, I am not an educated dumbass. But, my opinion is they also like to push these products (billing kickbacks, commission, surgery profit) before considering less invasive options. When you are in chronic pain; you look for a surgeon for advice and immediate help. Even though, the positive and negative consequences need to be carefully considered before taking the advice from someone who may have a different agenda. I hope that Dr. El-Kalliny (not El Kalliny) did spend more time with you, however my frequent office visits were not as pleasant. Get a life and stop bullying on social media, I am sure you have plenty of time to spell check since this is probably your only friend! For the initial comment. Overall, I think they are both brilliant surgeons with excellent bedside manner, just overwhelmed and maybe need to limit clients and/or increase there staff due to need.

Masters degree? Obviously, it's not in English. I don't know any college professors that would accept a dissertation using "there" when "their" should have been used. Also, it's “critique”, not "critic". Shall I go on?
