IShould Somerset going wet and open a topless bar?

Topless bars didn't work for Crab Orchard so I don't believe it will go over well in Somerset either. Just an opinion.

You don't need alcohol to have a strip club. Unless there is a city ordinance right now in place, a person could start one today without alcohol.

On the other hand, when alcohol is legalized there won't be a strip club. Just like in Danville, Elizabethtown, Morehead, Hazard. No strip clubs!

Strip clubs are only in large cities like Lexington and Louisville. If Somerset wants to ensure there is no strip clubs, they could pass an ordinance. Wouldn't surprise me if there was one in place already.

Lancaster has been wet for how long now? The dry crowd spread the same lies and rumors up there before their election. "Oh, after alcohol how long before the strip clubs?"

Back in the day Somerset had brothels, and guess what it was a dry county. Some people must be hoping the live entertainment comes back to town, much like the days of the circus. Next they will be saying alcohol sales will encourage the circus to come with elephants, lions and cotton candy.

Naw, just have a wet t-shirt contest on the new judicial center courtyard. Let all the females run through that water flume, no men, just women! That's what they did on the rooftop of the Toy Tiger Nightclub in Louisville, Kentucky annually. That's just some of the antics that goes on in the big cities

Actually, despite the fact that the supposition is entirely devoid of logic, this sort of scare tactic might actually work for the dry crowd.
