I saw some people selling animals at the flea market this weekend. Some of them were obviously sick. I felt so sorry for them. One little bunny had pus coming out of its little behind. I wish there was something that could be done to these people....

I bought a Poodle pup at the 914 Flea market almost 2 years ago, registered from a Nancy Breeder, no problems according to Animal Care of Somerset.

Like everywhere there are good vendors and bad vendors. I love that it is pet friendly. But they should have rules on selling animals

But they should have rules on selling animals It's not so much the 'selling' of the animals that bothers me, you don't have to pay for a sick animal..It's the 'treatment' of the animals. In the hot sun with no water, obviously not treated well at home if pus is coming out of them, so no vet care, or just care in general. I hate seeing anything suffer..but sometimes it wouldn't be so awful to see the 'owners' in those circumstances change places with these creatures. It might open their eyes a little..maybe.
