I went to Walgreen's and got overcharged again. This has happened to me many times.
The price in front of the item shows one amount, then when I check out, it scans a higher amount. Never, not once, has it ever rang up lower, always higher.
I like Walgreen's products and the convenience of the store. But I have to make sure each time that I'm not overcharged. I kept my most recent receipt which shows the corrections they had to make, again.
I've complained at the store each time - no results. I've started keeping all my receipts where I've been overcharged. I'm going to report it to wherever it is necessary to get that problem stopped.

Would'nt it be easier just to change drugstores?

If somebody would do their job right this problem would not be happening. If the shelf tag says 4.99 then the price should scan 4.99 NOT 5.98. I use to have the exact same problem at kmart several years ago. I don't see it as often there but it still goes on. Just last week at the Russell County kmart.

dammit!!!!whoever is suppose to do that particular job needs to do it right or give it to someone who will do it right.
ok, i'm done being grumpy

Absolutely not - The pharmacy in Wal-Mart (in my limited knowledge), has very friendly techs and very reasonable prices -
Did this - Went to pick up a very important subscription for my bride one day - Had to wait quite a while - Several ahead of me were comparing aches , pains , and plain old age conditions - Really sad - My turn at the window comes , I pay for the bottle of pills , and ,(tryin' to make the sick folks smile), I asked how many pills were in the bottle, and she replied 50 - I then asked why 50 Viagra costs so much - She (politely and loudly) replied , "well , that's a 5 year supply" - Even the sick folks appreciated that -

I was charged about $48.00 for an emergency prescription at 2:00 a.m. Sunday morning. When I asked if this was a little high, he replied, you cant get it anywhere else tonight, do you want it or not. Later I asked my regular pharmacy for a quote, it was $8.95. Walgreen should fire that man.

Wow talk about not having much common sense huh wondering? Well pharmacy technicians don't have to have any further education than a ged so you probably talked to one of them and not the pharmacist.

I thought a Pharm tech would have...something more than a GED or HS education. Well now I've been educated on topix! LOL who would have thought it possible

Go to King's Pharmacy. Low prices and the staff is so very friendly. I have to get a prescription that causes some ppl to judge me and often affects my service, not at King's they have done all they could to work with my dr and ins to make sure I never run out. They have always treated me with respect and compassion. Wonderful staff and lower prices I'm a faithful patron now.
