going down murphy ave today i seen the officer had pulled someone over in the same direction i was going. the officer was in his black dodge charger with very dark tinted windows as i passed, (i assume writing a ticket) i also have very dark tinted windows. about a mile down the road he pulled me over and said he noticed i was not wearing a seat belt when i passed him, by the way i had my seatbelt on and didnt get a ticket. my problem is how could i pass him going 35mph in the same direction with dark tinted windows and him in his car with dark tinted windows how could he possibly say he seen me without my seatbelt, well the answer is simple he couldnt and he is randomly pulling people over claiming he seen them without a seatbelt. i really dont think the seatbelt law was enacted as a tool for an excuse to pull people over and once again the law of pulaski county are abusing their power as usual.

Its such a small city, how did you expect them to pay for that hot charger with all that bad a** gear. Click it or TICKET.
He was keeping the citizens of ferguson safe from the likes of you horable non seatbelt wearing criminals.
Why I couldnt sleep knowing you were going past my house, while my tools were being stolen and he let you go just to catch a common thief! How dare you drive with no seat belt.

How many cruisers has that officer wrecked in his career?

How long do you think it will be before he wrecks Turd Furguson's new Charger?

If vegas was doing the odds, the over under on that bet would be 60 days or less.

Well he did get the charger to replace the Explorer he wrecked. With his record of damaging police cars I bet it coses Ferguson more for Auto insurance than health insurance.

I don't know about you, but he is not protecting me from anything. I don't live in Furguson.

The fact that Furguson is dumb enough to hire someone with such a history only serves to solidify their city's reputation as being more than a bit behind the bell curve on smarts.

The officer in question is with Somerset P.D., so have to ask, why is Somerset P.D. giving tickets in Ferguson ( is Ferguson paying the Somerset P.D. for protection). While in Science Hill/ Eubank area, this week there was also Somerset P.D. hanging out in that area, Why is Somerset P.D. out of city limits so often doing their daily drive around while on duty?

How many vehicles is occupied by city police? What happened to the bicycles, motorcycles and remember those 2 wheel standing motor scooters they bought a few years ago, what is the reason they are not using what tax payers bought on a dime? There should be more of these officers walking the beat, not driving around wasting gas outside the city limits.

The officer in question, as you put it, is Gary Pence who is retired from the Somerset PD and works for Ferguson part time now. As far as the city stopping someone in Ferguson, Ferguson is surrounded by Somerset so if a city officer is following someone that goes into Ferguson they have e wry right to stop them. As far as seeing a city officer out in the county, if they have a warrant or a case involving someone that lives in the county they have every right to go find the person. And the motor cycle, bikes, and segways have been used at the car show and other events and were purchased through grants.

Someone said earlier that the seatbelt law gave them a reason to pull people over. Start watching the PCDC site and look at how many people have been arrested for warrants, drug charges, and other things and at the bottom of the list is a ticket for no seat belts or running a stop sign. Several times something small can lead to something big.

I somehow deleted a sentence out of my other post. It should have had in there that Gary Pence started working there with David Moss a few months ago.

The public will be safer if Pence is driving the Charger than if Moss was out in it. Moss has a history of wrecking police cars that rivals that of Rosco P. Coletrain himself.

Moss and Pence. All they need now is the cross dresser from Science Hill (or was it Eubank?) and they will have the most amazing police force in the state.

You might be willing to give up liberty for a sense of protection. Not me sir..Not me. Using your logic every car with worn paint should be stopped and searched. More poor people commit crimes than more affluent people so just pull them all over and check them out.

The seat belt law becoming primary is just a tool being used to pull people over to see what's up with them. Getting pulled over in a vehicle with tinted glass is just more proof of that fact.

Daily Horoscope for May 18

Pisces

There's a clash today between the past and the present. Someone wants to dwell nostalgically on the good old days but someone else is determined to forget all that and only concentrate on the here and now. The trouble is that neither side will want to concede to the other person's point of view, leading to bad feelings and upsets. If you are one of these people, try not to be too entrenched in your own opinions.
