Great, let's keep the character of Ocean City, N.J.

Character? Got that right! Kiddy city, boardwalk crap shops and a seasonal employment when after Labor Day, like the rest of Cape May County, goes on unemployment to the tune of 45%!

The hell harm is there in someone bringing in a lousy bottle of wine to have with their meals? Guess what? People are going to go where they are going to be treated like adults, not like children and if they want an adult beverage with their dinner, so what? Will that kill anyone?

Values are one thing, this is like Ocean Grove, chain off the roads on Sunday and let's let the religious nuts run the show. That's real progress, huh? Meantime, everyone has to draw unemployment and left to live off of nickels and dimes! But who cares!
Ask Mark Soyfer over there in Disney Land his answer to economic solutions. Have a "Doo Dah Parade" and wear trash can lids on your head, hermit tree crab pagents and baby parades.
OC is going the way of the rest of the State with it's head up it's rump, SOUTH!!!

I agree. Ocean City should be closed to tourists on Sunday so the locals can get wasted and have block party bbq's.

This island is getting worse and worse as time goes on. It may be a nice place to spend a week at but living here year round is getting tougher and tougher to find work

No, good buddy, I don't, nor would I ever will, live in such a ridiculous city as OC. What do you locals do the there three quarters out of the year when the town folds? I know, go across the bridge to the Circle Liquor store, get your fill of provisions, go back home and sit around and watch TV Land while sucking down the suds! The hell else can you do in that boreing, nowhere little, overrated little pisspot town? Go down down to the beach and see if you can pick up a hermit crab for a hot date??? Give me a break!!!

Just because someone wants to have an ADULT beverage with their meal, DOES NOT make them a bunch of "drunks" Truely reflective of the OC mentality that will end up costing them "BIG TIME"!
