The sad story of Erin Maxwell

This young girl dies in a bizzare manner and lived in deplorable conditions. She need a voice for justice. Please read:

A couple questions for any one that knows -
How long ago did Erin return from visiting out of State family ?

Why is a 27(Alan Jones) year old living at home ?

Why does New York State require only a minimum of 1 meal a day and food and shelter for minor children?

I posted this but it did not show up so I am sorry if it ends up double posting. I did read that Erin returned from Nevada on July 11th, so how on earth can the Family blame the Nevada family for the sexual trauma the ME determined contributed to her death 19 days later ? This is just so wrong.

You are more than welcome hon. I did go to the paper online you posted as well and saw you'd linked this page there. I hope to meet some of the folks from your area who knew Erin, especially Ms. Clark. She sounds like a great gal.

In reading more about Erin, I realized she and I shared some common problems at the same age, although I'm 55 now. Being poor, parents fighting, not having the right clothes, being teased. I hope we can help in some way to make sure she has justice. Even if it's the media attention you desire. As you can tell from the other thread we have on Caylee Anthony, we are not shy about using freedom of speech to speak for those who can't any longer.

As a mother of 5 children i can't imagine anyone letting their child live in these deplorable conditions.

There is no excuse for a "filthy house".

I think the authoritites should be doing more to make an arrest. But of course they probably have the mentality of those cats. "This is my house and can do what i want.A MAN'S HOME IS HIS CASTLE." It just seems strange to me that they would remove these cats but not the child. She certainly did not have to die.

Please, let's get some justice for Erin.

By the way, I was born and raised in Syracuse. I married and had all of my children in Syracuse. Just because i now live in Florida does not mean that this is any less deplorable.

I am so angry that our children are not given the same justice as animals. The laws have to be changed, and pedophiles should not get a second chance to destroy a life. I hope dna leads to an arrest, and that everyone remembers Erin, and just like amber's death lead to" amber alert," Erins can lead to a change that will always be attributed to her. Alicia, thank you for being kind.

I have not been able to understand why on earth no one has been arrested in this case. Maybe as a community we all need to start calling the Distric attorney and asking why?

Excellent idea Amy. Since the secondary cause of death is sexual trauma, there must be DNA. And the first suspects you need to clear is, the person who found the body, then the rest of the family.

This story stinks as bad as the Caylee Anthony story.

I am not from Scranton but that is where I currently am. I am from Palermo.

Along time ago in a quite little town in oswego county, someone committed a very bad crime and they left someone for dead. No arrest was made. No one remembers that. Well except maybe me.

This will not happen to Erin. As long as there is still breath in me. Lets have some Justice for Erin!!!!

Where is Erin's Bilogical Mom in all this mess?

That question has been asked on other posting sites and someone stated that her Bio mother gave up all parental rights when Erin was 2 years old.

I believe they were divorced in 1999,(from my research)(Erin would have been 2) since I am not a family member, I can not say these are the facts.
