Sounds like Schneider is starting to change a bit as a company and paying attion to who is really paying thier bills. they are offering something O/O'S can really make money with. if an O/O runns regularly and plans smartly they can do real good it sounds like.

...or maybe they're experiencing overgrowth. I wonder why they sold their flatbed division to Maverick? To buy more container to railroad Chinese imports up from Mexico?

Actually I know the answer to that question...I have a friend that was an operations manager for Schneiders flatbed division and he told me that they had been looking to get out of flatbedding for sometime now, but first they needed to finish a few of the major contracts and reassign the drivers that wanted to stay with the company. he said the liability costs were not worth the cost of keeping the trucks running so they deceided to phase them out.

If Schneier doesn't quit getting rid of the hard working managers, they are going to go under. They have let go of several great, honest and hard working people that have worked the hardest for them. But I guess they have to get rid of the high paying managers to make save some money. Just like anyother company, it isn't about the people anymore, it is about the dollor...

Who wants to drive those ugly orange trucks?
Dennis how many times do I have to say it; drivers must make a deal in "ORIENTATION";
once you sign all the papers and leave orientation you have excepted whatever deal you failed to make. Drivers have civil rights, you must read what you sign, you can also refuse to sign any legal documents that is a condition of employment without an "ATTORNEY" present.

Any Legality documents given to you to sign by an employer stating you must sign as a condition of employment you have a legal right to have an attorney present.
All legal documents must be signed also by the employer in your presence; NOT A COPIED SIGNATURE with your real signature, they must sign the document just as you did.

Any forms given to you to sign without the employers signature as well only means you were given a document to sign and you willfully signed it There was no agreements made.
Also you have a right to obtain copies of every document you signed.
Of course you must ask!!!
