No Bond for Dogfighting Suspects

It is truly a shame that the NEW Anti-Dog Fighting bill sponsored by Senator Chip Rogers is not already in place. Georgia has one of the worst dog fighting laws, and there is no excuse for it. I am ashamed that Governor Sonny Perdue does not have enough compasion for animals that he would make sure "he leaves Georgia a better place" for both humans AND animals. What kind of veternarian was he? VOTE people, please. Go on www.congress.com and , put in your zip code, and email your Senators to pass SB 16 NOW! Dog Fighting is not only inhumane for the animals, it leads to all kinds of gang activity in the community. Georgia still kills over 90,000 pets a year, that is more than the entire country of England! Shame on Georgia, and GA law makers for not making animal cruelty and better spay/neuter laws.
