What's going on with the Virginia Regional Dentist?

i am sueing also for the same things.

KOOL SMILES is an awful place to take your children. i made the mistake of letting them put crowns on my daughters baby teeth that aren't even due to come out til she is 11 yrs old and she is now 7 yrs. she is self conscious of her smile. kids tease her about not being able to eat fruit snacks, lollipops, and kid type candy that is sticky. please do not take your children to KOOL SMILES. they are rude unprofessional and always using the HAVE OR HAD word in anything they say to u. also have no way to give you copies of xrays they say are digital and how do we know that the copies from the computer are even our childs xrays.

They can copy your x-rays and as the records are YOUR right you can demand they give you a copy. I know it sounds harsh and please do not take it as such but fruit snacks are about the worst treat you can give a child. Gummy worms, swedish fish etc are all so bad. Yes I used to work there but there is some truth in what they tell you. Good luck and tell you daughter her smile is beautiful because it is hers and nobody else has one like it!

lisanrj04. XRays are digital, but can be printed on high quality paper that is provided to the offices. The staff I worked with would always print them for patients and to submit to medicaid. I would also ask for a copy of the child's entire record. You may want to consider looking at the dentist license which should be posted in the office. You may want to get a second opinion to see if the work was required or properly done. Also, check or call the medicaid office in your location to see if this legit.

they can print them on any paper, seen it done. All you have to do is tell them if they don't want to accommodate you know they might want to accommodate the Department of Public Health instead :)

Can you imagine if Obama gets elected and he wants free medical or dental for everyone. these companies will make a lot of money and provide bad, unhealthy care to our children. The line will be so long, its pretty bad now.

hi and thank you for your comments. i have notified another dentist and he gave me a second opinion and the crowns should not have been done just for one small cavity that could've been filled. we are sueing and i know it will make other parents see that kool smiles is worthless. thank you again and take care.

I had an emergency between jobs and took my 18 month old son. They traumatized him, refused to allow me in the room with him, refused to bring him back to me until they were done- all this AFTER THEY MADE ME PAY IN FULL UP FRONT!! and then had the friggin nerve to send me an additional bill and say I owe them money!!! I barley missed a call from them, less than 5 minutes, not near an hour or hal-hour, but at 3:42 pm. Guess what???!! when I called right back. they were friggin CLOSED! Go to HELL all of you@

I Dont' know who you are but in Georgia all of the Clinics are being monitored.This is after many complaints from past patients and past and present employees of K.S.Why do I know this ?. The office I work in receives pictures and letters all the time, we then pull the billing for the patient and send them to other dental offices to be examined per KS's work.I really know what is going on at KS.... I was one of the employees that got booted and Dr. Meadows felt sorry for me and hired me to work for their projects.S-O you know I knew everything.

Tell us more. Future employment plans depend on it. We are there for the right reasons-the children, however we are looking for full disclosure of info that would make us reconsider our position as a united front. We look at ourselves in the mirror every day and are happy w/what we see. We will not go down with an unreputable sinking ship-if that is truly the case.
