I don't think violations of the code of conduct for Judges are criminal matters. Of course, criminal matters would be a violation of that code.

The judge can violate the code without violating criminal laws, dummy.

There may be criminal violations, but I don't care. Alleged Ethical and criminal wrongdoing by judges in Chattooga is nothing more than a perfect representation of most citizens in the same county. Chattooga lawyers are as educated as most 11th graders in non-3rd world counties. They appear smart because they are dealing with regular chattoogans who have the education of an Iranian woman and the IQ of an inbred, bastard ape. Chattoogans go to church in the hopes of drumming up business for their yard work careers, they go to school because big brother forces them and they go to work because it makes a nice supplement to their baby's momma's government check. Most women in Chattooga, even the most dedicated, could be bought with the promise of monogrammed towels and a trip to Ellijay. Most Chattooga men could be bought with a six pack and a smile, although they don't consider themselves homosexual because prison doesn't count.
Worrying about what the representatives, judges, movers and shakers are doing is a waste of time. They are a wonderful cross section of chattooga society.

Let's break it down Sage:

I said that I would be more sympathetic to the judge if she had a good reason for her anger.

Another poster said that there was no good reason for her anger because the investigation against her had uncovered crimes, which implies that the investigation was not merely retaliatory or brought for harassment or intimidation purposes.

Then a poster named Jackson astutely pointed out that no crimes have been uncovered by the investigation.

The implication of Jackson's astute observation is that the judge may well have been put under a criminal investigation for purposes of intimidation and harassment, and therefore may have had a good reason for her angry outburst.

Time will tell, of course, unless they decide to take care of the policemen behind the scenes, quietly.

She broke the law when she became bias for personal reasons. That is a clear Oath of Office violation. That ship sailed. They have her recorded so the doubt afforded her is gone. This is a simple case really. If she wasn't aware the saying "ignorance of the law is no excuse" is at play here. Never mind intimidation of a witness ,obstruction ,and many more. I wonder what she would treat a police officer like if they committed the same offenses. I'm thinking not so good.

You're a hypocrite.

She can be angry all she wants. She can't let it affect her behavior though. It's funny how you'll excuse her behavior because "she was angry" but if it was a cop swearing at a citizen on a traffic stop, you'd demand the officer be fired.

Thanks for showing your stupidity and bias yet again.

I don't know if there was an investigation or not. I have not seen proof either way. It doesn't matter. If the cops got tips the judge was up to something, they had a duty to investigate it. What, are they not supposed to at least look into something because she's a judge? Or because she's white? Cops get tips on people all of the time. They look into it. Lots of times, they find nothing. Sometimes there is nothing to find, sometimes they just can't find what there is to find.

The problem here is the judge believes SHE is above reproach. She believes she is above the law, as evidenced by her tirade that was caught on tape. If you find out you are being investigated and you have nothing to worry about, there are much better ways to react than the way she did!

I'll assume there was absolutely nothing criminal the judge was involved with. That still doesn't excuse her behavior.

I speak from my experience,if I am
being blamed over and over again about
something I did not do and there is this
constant messing with me that I did do it.
What can one do? It makes me mad because
they can throw their fist up in the air,
get in your face, and mess with one anyway
they think up which makes one look
like the bad guy.
The way they manipulate
people or get new people to join in. 25 years
is way too long to stalk someone yet they
continue on. This is my opinion.

Ever heard the old saying, "actions speak louder than words?" Her actions show what she believes. She's a judge. She should know better than to behave like that. Apparently, she thinks the rules don't apply to her. That is how I drew my conclusions. Do you have a different interpretation??

her actions show her actions. that's all we know for sure. you're infering from her actions what you believe she believes. that don't make it so. you can't know what she believes without her telling you her beliefs. you're making an assumption. an assumption i believe is clouded by some personal problem you seem to have with the judge.
