I agree...it's time to replace Caza. He should have been fired at the end of the 2007 season.

In all honesty, there were people telling me that Caza was a poor leader shortly after he became head coach. I tried to stick up for Caza at the time, but I never could have anticipated that Caza would do such a poor job. Obviously, Caza is the worst leader ever associated with the Marysville football program.

Lemming...
That is what Caza is when you think of him as a "Leader."
Caza is to selfish to admit he doesn't have the ability to lead properly. Instead of resigning and doing what is best for the kids, Caza is selfish and willing to lead the kids over the edge of a mountain like a blind lemming.

You are all absolutely right. The one problem you fogot to mention is that it is not about how the kids look or feel it is how Caza looks. The possibility that he could act even more arrogant than before after such a season is unbelievable. You see, this is something I realized long before last years losing season. In the good old boy network of Marysville (including our Athletic Director) Caza will be here for a long, long time.

Caza never should have been hired in the first place; he was a joke of an assistant under Venia. Caza wasted no time confirming the fact that he lacked coaching skill. Caza verified in 2007 that he's the worst football coach in Marysville history. In the good old boy network of Marysville, these are the key players: Principal Bill Farnsworth, Athletic Director Terry Curley, and Superintendent Silveri. Those people should have fired Caza at the end of the 2007 season. If those Marysville "network" employees don't fire Caza after the 2008 season, then it will be time to talk to the Board of Education about hiring a new Superintendent, a new Principal, and a new Athletic Director!

Caza don't believe in practicing. You see MC Football kids out in July running sprints on their own at the old stadium by MC High and you say to yourself, "Now, that's a team that has respect for a coach when they will even practice on their own. Winning breeds determination and sacrafice. Losing, well that breeds poor attitudes and lack of determination. Your players are going to work as hard as you do. If the the coach doesn't work, neither will his players. Bring back the Fear in Marysville Football and FIRE CAZA!

saint 41 is 100% correct.
The words "Marysville Vikings" used to strike fear into the minds of all football teams in Michigan. Coach Braun was the President of the MHSAA, and he had a reputation as being the TOUGHEST coach in the nation! For crying out loud, Marysville Football appeared on 20/20 when Braun was coach!
With Caza as coach, things just aren't the same. Caza has started a new tradition based on losing. Now, instead of finding a way to win close games, the Vikings find a way to lose close games. Sadly, playing in close games is a situation that Caza coached teams rarely face, because so many games result in a blow-out loss!
When the Vikings are losing 35-0 at Halftime, and the Marysville fans are shouting "FIRE CAZA," it is DEFINITELY time to FIRE CAZA!
If Principal Bill Farnsworth doesn't realize that, then it's time to FIRE FARNSWORTH!
I hope the rumors about Caza being fired last night at the Board of Education meeting are true.
