I am from Independence Kansas, hometown of candidate Derek Schmidt and I will be voting for current Kansas Attorney General Steve Six, I personally know Derek and he is good in the Senate, Six is the better person for Attorney General!

INDEPENDENCE, Kan.| A husband and wife who worked at Coffeyville Community College have pleaded no contest to charges in the theft of approximately $535,000 from the southeastern Kansas school.

Melissa Dawn DeVivo, 40, and 39-year-old Nicholas Antonio DeVivo, entered the pleas Thursday to amended charges of forgery and attempted felony theft. Sentencing is set for Feb. 23 in Montgomery County District Court.

The DeVivos live in South Coffeyville, Okla. Melissa DeVivo worked in the college's business office from 1991 to January 2011. Her husband was the school's head cheerloading coach from 1996 to 2002.

Montgomery County Attorney Larry Markle says the plea agreement calls for the couple to pay back $300,000 at their sentencing, and the rest of the funds at later dates.

time for someone new I have been a victim of more than one crime and I still have no rights and no place to go even though I was assaulted with a car they want you to hire attorneys to do their jobs for them.
I do not care to vote for any Kansas incumbent do to lack of anything for the people I do not care about party anymore. I care about them working for the people and not themselves with all types of excuses. Have you ever called Topeka lately I have 2 hrs 10 minutes on the phone and the common saying that is not covered in my department try this one.
