All I know is that I'm sick and tired or the murphy family and the Smith County Commissioners making the place where I live look like something similar to "Boss Hogg" and the Dukes of Hazzard. Remember the show and how riduculous the "County" was portrayed? Take a close look at what is happening right now in Smith county and tell me they don't look identical!

I would have thought that the results of the last election would have told you what the public really thinks of having you in office. Or does the public oppinion not matter?

Smith Co. has looked like the dukes of hazard for a 100 years, Christ wake up you brain froze nuckle head.As far as the former Sheriff Murphy WAS VOTED IN AND OUT. It's politics, the real problem is there is not a newspaper in S.C.WORTH AXXX.

The problem is the county attorney is a clown who has some serious mental problems who loves to pretend he is important. The commissioners are just idiots.

I love how the citizens of Smith County sit back and let bozo's like Allen Shelton, Sharon Wolters, County Commissioners, Burke Phelps,(I could go on & on) run the show and not even ask questions.
Hmmm, I wonder why one sheriff resigns and leaves, and the the new sheriff, they do everything to get out of office.

After reading the paper it sounds like the commissioners and sharon wolters followed what the state suggested. Good for them!! It does seem the county attorney has a god complex tho...

HMMM, have you ever thought about how biased that piece of toilet wipe called the Smith County Pioneer may be. Jack Krier, has his nose so far up the asses of some of the biggest advertisers. I guess you kiss the ass of the hand that pays you, HUH.

So my point is dont trust the Pioneer to be giving accurate information on the whole deal.

I wasn't talking about the local paper. I was talking about other papers outside the local area. It sounds like the local paper reported what was said at meetings and etc...and sold alot of papers, which was his goal. Who were his biggest advertisers? Just asking cause I never saw that part. Maybe I should subscribe haha

What a place to be from or to go to. It sure has a lot of problems, could be they don't want the prolems solved.

washing cars? I have been through shit Center and I see a automatic car wash were they take the money and the machine washes and dryes it .also THERE OTHER BAYS ARE SELF SERVE,So it's obvious the car washing Businees is smarter than you or the owner is .Also The Murphys auto repair came up on his day off and fixed a broken wire in the dist.And did except a dime ,Looks like you may want to think before you Blow from the lip.

yes good point all the "m" family has that problem

I am not going to claim Smith County has sufficient law enforcement currently, but one thing is for sure.. E.M. was not the answer to Smith County's problems. He just totally worsened the entire situation. Smith County has its share of issues, primarily drugs. Combine that, with area law enforcment quoted saying: "I don't get paid enough to deal with drug issues".....you know problems are going to arise.
